"I've been a fan of this restaurant for years, but my recent experience was disappointing. Last night, they had reserved 90% of the dining area for a Bocce Ball banquet, and it was incredibly loud—we couldn’t hear each other talk. Our server didn’t approach us because they assumed we were part of the banquet, so we had to ask for everything ourselves. If they're going to host an event like that, they should really close the restaurant to regular customers. There were even loud announcements with everyone yelling and cheering. It's a shame because we've always enjoyed this place, but we won't be returning."

"This is going to be an extremely honest review, that will not lack criticism.I ordered through Ubereats tonight. I ordered 1 cheesesteak, toasted, American and fried onions.Overall the steak was pretty solid, I will say the cheese to meat ratio is a bit off but it was a healthy portion of meat that did not taste cheap. I also enjoyed the option to have my roll toasted. In the future I will probably just order extra cheese.I did also order hotwings, now the only issue is there was absolutely no buffalo sauce really anywhere to be found, and believe me I picked them up and looked all over. I’m not sure they were ever even tossed, I checked what I selected on the app and in my eyes it reflected traditional hotwings in buffalo sauce, but maybe I am wrong.Luckily I had an unopened bottle of Franks wing sauce in my cabinet that solved that issue pretty quickly. If I didn’t have that this review may have been one star less, who knows.I was also not a huge fan of receiving ranch packets instead of a pre fill soufflé cup. I was happy to see it was Kens though.The food arrived in about 30 minutes which nobody can complain about that. Minus the one issue I got exactly what I paid for and enjoyed eating it.The effort was there, in this current climate that’s something to value. I can tell they are really trying to be as good as they can be, especially based off the interactions with bad reviews.I rarely give out one star unless the place REALLY deserves it, and EVERYTHING has to be horrible.To sum it up, they did make a small mistake but they will get my business again.I think I will try their pizza next."

After, all the just ok places I've been recently, in the course of my work travels, Rose Bank Pizza was a relief. Thank God I found such an all around great place. I'm looking forward to trying many more menu items."

"Update: since this experience I haven't had one nearly as bad as this the pizza is good and the cheesecake is delicious glad I tried it again after the bad first impression. I know it's the Superbowl but I really can't accept this experience. Driver was amazing even went back to the restaurant to get an extra pizza. Reason why because our order took over 2 hours to get here and unfortunately they didn't even bring us 1 of the pizza we actually ordered. We got 2 random meat covered pizzas and all we ordered was extra cheese chicken. The extra pizza was nice but I'm still not happy with getting 2 pizzas I can't eat. Wings are good but this was a terrible experience. Glad I ordered them since it was the only think I could eat from a $50 order. I think what we originally ordered would've been good and I could've eaten this one if not for the other meats. Ordered through slice."

"LAURAS used to be a wonderful dining destination that we frequented every Friday. However, the takeout lines grew so long that it became uncomfortable to sit near the queue. Eventually, we stopped visiting due to slow table service. Last Friday, five of us decided to give it another try and ordered shrimp ravioli, a chicken cheesesteak, a tuna cheesesteak, and a personal pizza that my daughter and I shared. Unfortunately, the ravioli tasted like it was store-bought, and the shrimp still had their tails on! The chicken cheesesteak was dry and made entirely from dark meat, while the tuna cheesesteak was also dry and unappetizing. The personal pizza was a letdown; the crust was so thin that we had to eat it with a knife and fork, and it tasted like frozen pizza dough. The small side salads were laughable—a plate of lettuce with just three slices of tomato! As for the bruschetta, it was made with canned tomatoes instead of fresh ones. In fact, nothing we ordered was enjoyable. It will be a long time before we consider returning, which is disappointing. This used to be a fantastic local pizzeria, but it has really gone downhill. It didn’t even seem that busy for a Friday night like it used to be. Perhaps there are new owners or the younger generation is now in charge. It’s disheartening to witness such a decline!"

"Pleasant Cafe is an interesting experience with a great value. It's this perfectly preserved restaurant and bar straight out of the 70s, with a vast menu, unique specials, and a full bar. And it's very affordable! Don't go here with your nose up and quick to judge, it may look old but it has a really special atmosphere that many new hipster joints couldn't recreate if they tried. If you can appreciate it for what it is, you'll be a returning customer no doubt. Be patient with the service, sit back, and enjoy your cold $5 beer!"

"My family I are big into House of Pizzas. We seek them out have been to dozens because we don’t like chains. While in Rockport my family wanted pizza so naturally we looked for their House of Pizza. I’m sorry, but this was the absolute worst pizza any of us have ever had. We got 3 different kinds everything about it was bland; the crust, sauce, toppings, even the cheese what minimal amount there was. I can only think to compare it to cafeteria or hospital food. My bottomless pit teenagers refused to eat it after trying 2 different slices. It was that bad. Do not recommend."

"A few months ago, my wife and I visited this restaurant and decided to come back for a second time despite the building being previously devastated by a flood. We started our meal with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered the Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. A salad was also served with our meal. The dining room can get quite noisy, but the outstanding food makes it worth it."

"I don't normally eat at chain restaurants when I travel, preferring trying local spots. But after a long day of travel not many choices, I stopped by here. I was very pleasantly surprised. The salad was plentiful, very fresh and great tasting. I had spaghetti and have to say it rivaled the best I have ever had. Service was a little slow as far as ordering drink refills, but once ordered the food came quickly. I would return without hesitation."

"I've only been twice and sadly both times were inconsistent but not necessarily in a bad way. When I went tonight, the duck was perfectly cooked instead of well done as it was at my last visit. "Food was very slow to arrive at table. When it did arrive, my main course was not hot. Needed to sent it back. Paella lacked flavor. We were told it served two people. It does not. It is a normal full-size serving for one. It was mostly shells and little fish and the rice was overcooked to the point that it stuck to the bottom of the pan. Pasta bolognese was acidic and actually tasted bad. The servers and hosts were all very personable so I feel badly for them. The kitchen has problems."
