"My grandson and I attempted our next steak experience and were highly pleased with High Noon. My grandson ordered the Ribeye. Here is my grandson's critique: The steak was soft and easy to cut and it was juicy and seasoned well and really good. The fries were really crisp and seasoned well. I ordered the meatloaf. My critique is similar: the meatloaf was well prepared and seasoned. I prefer my meatloaf with a little bit more sweetness, but overall it was delicious. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful and the steam veggies were crisp and fresh. The service was great and our server was nice and helpful and friendly. "This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is delicious, and the menu offers a great variety. They serve both Tex-Mex dishes and authentic Mexican plates. "I have travel to many local Mexican restaurants in Mexico over the past 15 plus years. The food is fantastic. I don 't expect to taste the same in the USA, as it is normally more Tex-mex . I was very surprised at the food taste, even though they have to tune it down for the gringos, you can taste the authenticity in the food and only those that have travel to real pueblo in Mexico can comment. Not what I expected and was happly surprised, just wish I could eat more but the portions were very filling. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Don 't let the lay back atmosphere or decor fool you. This is typical Mexican country side home feel. Hats off the the owners and employees. Wish I had time to enjoy, Una Micheladas . Cheers"

"This place is absolutely phenomenal! I have never experienced this quick of a food output time nor have I experienced the flavors that I have experienced tonight! Alex is an incredible host/server! He took our order, explained everything to us and was super super amazing with info and giving us knowledge on upcoming events! I ate my first ever scorpion tonight after being shown a scorpion shot, yes they have those here, definitely recommend venturing out and trying it!"

"I ordered food from here assuming I was in for some real-deal Mexican fare. This is Saint Paul, after all. West side, even! This is NOT real-deal Mexican fare. Not even close. Even for Americanized Mexican food it still left much to be desired. The barbacoa torta I ordered was mediocre at best. Too much guac, not enough meat, and absolutely zero jalapenos. It came with rice. It too was nothing special. Nothing had much flavor Not the meat, nothing. It was all bland and boring. Although I'm sure things would've cooled off a bit in the 10 or so minutes it took me to arrive, I wasn't expecting it all to be completely cold as well. I ate maybe 2/3rds and abandoned the rest. A cold, bland, torta with no jalapenos for $9.25. My bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola $2.35) was ice cold and delicious. El Burrito Mercado is very close, very legit, and very awesome! Catrinas was a bust. I was gunning for something I hadn't tried before and I paid the price. You, however, have read my review. I have made this sacrifice for you. The 4.5 stars this place is getting is just wrong. Seems every single person reviewing the place has no idea what real-deal Mexican is supposed to taste like. If you're one of those people, seek out the real-deal stuff! You won't be disappointed."

"I ordered three double flour tortillas for my ribeye tacos and was shocked to see an extra charge of $14 for them! Seriously, the cost is only about 60¢ each. Additionally, someone must have spilled the salt on the asada tacos because they were way too salty. That said, everything else was really delicious. The red onions and chimichurri sauce were excellent, and the red tacos were amazing. The Birria tacos along with the consommé and meat were superb. I definitely recommend trying them, but be careful about unexpected charges. The flour tortillas were for someone who doesn't like corn, and they should make that option more readily available instead of making customers feel like they're being inconvenient for asking for a change. I know it’s possible because I’ve used other services where this option is clear and reasonably priced."

"We waited in the parking lot for our food, and when the order arrived, the server didn’t provide us with a receipt, which was strange. She went back to get it, and when I checked the order after we left, I found that the meat wasn’t on the side as we requested. To make matters worse, we were charged for the meat and an additional 4% fee. When I called to address this, the lady informed me that they could only sell the quesadilla with cheese and could not provide the meat on the side. I pointed out that they should at least offer the option to put the meat on the side, but she insisted that was not possible. It's ridiculous that we ended up being charged $18.48 for two quesadillas without any apology or acknowledgment of our concerns. The service was very rude."

"Been here several time in the past. It’s been a while since my last visit. Food used to be so good. Everything we ordered was just blan! We won’t be back. No flavor to the rice at all. Fajitas had no taste to them. Barely had peppers or onions on them, gave me two small tomato slices. Had to squeeze 5 limes on them for flavor. Came out on a plate not sizzling. They were like warm. Loaded nachos had barely anything on them, got chicken and steak ones, big mistake. Our waitress was to worried about taking to other waitresses working or people sitting at the bar! Service was horrible. Took her 10 minutes to even acknowledge we were at the table."
