"I visited in the mid-afternoon when there was only one other person there whom I had met before. We were having a friendly discussion, but I speak loudly due to hearing loss from my time in the military, specifically from being near nuclear blasts. I can't hear my own voice, so I tend to speak at a higher volume—it’s a medical issue.
I noticed the controlling lady creeping up behind us, and from about 20 feet away, she told me to lower my voice. There was nothing inappropriate in our conversation; the gentleman I was talking to didn't have any issues with it, and there was no one else around. I explained my situation to her, but she insisted that I needed to quiet down.
I looked at her and said, "Have a nice day," then turned around and left, vowing never to return."
