"Service is terrible!!! Looking at menu, waitress wants to take my order. Started with miso soup. VERY watered down. Eating soup, still looking at menu, get a text. Waitress wants to take my order while I am answering text. She finally waited until I pushed the menu away and set my phone down. Thank you! You don't need to repeatedly ask for an order when I am looking at the menu! Asked for vegetable tempura while pointing to the one under bento box. She started to walk away, then turned and asked if I wanted the bento box. I was pointing to that and not the appetizer, so ummm, yes. Waiting for my food and watched waitress carry four drinks to another table. One drink in each hand, and two held against her chest with her arm. The rims were touching her shirt. Gross! Meal came... Lettuce had many brown spots and no dressing. Tempura had a drizzle of something over it. No dipping sauce. Only 5 pieces of tempura when appetizer has 10. Showed my salad to sushi chef and asked for dipping sauce. Waitress brought plate back with same brown lettuce, this time with dressing. Tempura was very bland. Egg rolls, so-so. Best thing on the plate was the rice. Waitress proceeded to ignore me and my empty glass of water. She finally flew by and placed the check on the table.Definitely not a good experience, not good food, terrible service! Certainty not worth the $23 I spent. No manager to be found. Owner will be getting a call. Nori, you have lost a long-time customer as well as anyone who will listen to my experience!"

"I loved this place until he was bought by new owners. they used to have really tasty, spicy dishes (3.5 spicy level was a knock them out their socks from the level), but now they are less tasteful and are bland (level 5 the hottest is not all that spicy). the waiting staff is not well versed on what is or what is not vegan on the menu. from any reason whatever they do order will come with the half (literal) a head of salat. (I asked the waiter and he laughed because he didn't know, and said the people ask all the time). I have often ordered to eat to pick up from here, as there are some other places in the neighbourhood that can take vegan meals. I regularly ordered the summer pad thai and would indicate online that I asked vegan to ensure that no fish sauce would be used. obviously caused this confusion, as the chefs thought it would lead to throwing additional vegetables of any kind. somehow funny when I found out why the court was never the same twice and why the ingredients were never what was listed on the menu (sortiment, art der uneasy). I ordered six out of seven times and got something different than I demanded. one of these times my fiance actually came back with huh fried rice (serves us for not double check before going to house half mile) instead of my vegan dish. when we said we had received the wrong order, they were rude about it and seemed uncomfortable. they refused to deliver the right order so we had to go back to get it. I decided to give them another chance (mostly because they are next to tin whiskers, which is brilliant), so my friend and I went there to get out to get to tw. the wet was incapable of remembering to take our order (the bartender told him twice before sending someone else), it took 45 minutes to get the food, and when we finally got it, my meal was bland (in terms of heat) and really salty. I'm not going back. Hopefully, more and more restaurants in the neighbourhood become vegan friendly soon. updated by previous review on 2016-12-04"

"I have been living in California for 18 years, with my husband on weekends we go to different areas and Los Altos is one of my favorites. We had lunch and stayed for coffee. Yesterday we tried this colorful place: The interior is very warm, there is order, the guys from the staff are very attentive and professional. I ordered chips and salsa and two salads and we sat outside on the wide terrace on the street to wait for the order, when I went to get it, what a pleasant surprise: the salads are huge, also delicious. It has many tables with umbrellas, the wifi is powerful and reaches well outside, by the way the key is Burritos =D the atmosphere was calm and the service was fast. It opens at 9:30 a.m. every day and from Sunday to Wednesday it closes at 8:00 a.m. Thursday to Saturday it closes at 8:30 p.m. Surely on my next visit to Los Altos I will return to this place. I highly recommend it. Update: Today we went for the second time for another great lunch with my husband, there were quite a few people in the line before me, finally a very nice guy took my order Lulu chopped Salad al Pastor and Beef Taquitos he told me that it would be ready in 10 minutes. As it was a short time I stayed inside the place and noticed that he took orders by phone too and they accumulated until there were so many that the delivery of our lunch took almost 40 minutes. It's a shame because the food is very tasty."

"Strawberry cream sodaIsn't sweet, just carbonated with a hint of strawberry and a scoop of ice cream on it, it was the best once the ice cream is fully mixed in but absolutely overpriced for a disappointmentOur food came all out at staggered timesThe Dr pepper we got came in a kids size plastic cup for an adult, we're assuming the sever mixed up because the other tables had regular sized cups and the kids sprite we got, came in a Styrofoam cupWe had to ask for our plates and silverware, which was odd ? sinc4 we had already been sitting with the soup and salad ang then our rice arrived a few minutes late maybe our server had a slight language barrier, because our server seemed confused when we askedThe Oolong tea is good, I liked the aftertasteThey include a salad and soup with the lunchThe broth was interesting, I couldn't quite place the flavorThe veggie fried rice was the best of what we ordered soooo sooo flavorful and fully of a variety of VegetablesThe pork yakisoba had only had 2 piece of pork in it and the sauce was very overwhelming tangy similar to BBQ sauce, not goodThe spicy tonkatsu ramen overall was ok because of the brooth and the egg was cooked well but the noodles were a huge letdown and tasted the same as the bag noodles. While the bowl serving was large it was almost all noodles, which was also very disappointing ?We only ended up taking the rice to go, it was the only good partThe atmosphere was very nice and overall the staff was friendly but we were continually left unattended, never got a refill, no napkins, just lackluster careWe were barely acknowledged after we placed our order and our food cameThe floor was sticky (carpet and tile in the bathroom) they were installing more wood floors, nor sure if it was related to why the rest of the floor was sticky, it stuck our shoes to the floor ?Overall our experience was disappointing? we were expecting so much more from the reviews, we won't be back"

"I mean 10/10 is an understatement. The restaurant, the ambiance, the open kitchen and the service is only the start! Juniper, our server, was not only amazing but also kind of enough to make our dining experience exceptional. She recommended thenon alcoholic drink Coco Melon which tasted like a honeydew melon lemonade but slight subtle. But the ginger ale was the realstar of a drink! Amazing amazing amazing. I?ll start with the shareables or the HOT/ROBATA. 1. Corn: You?ll be nuts to not trythe corn. It?s a grilled corn with garlic miso aioli, chili powder topped with shaved paprika. I could eat 10 of these alone. The flavor was INSANE. 2. Jaga Bata was devine let me explain why. The smoked potatoes with the mushrooms had such a deepflavor. It was a rich dish with an aioli that was to die for. I?m not a mushroom person but let me tell you, I think I?m ashroom lover now.. not the kind you?re thinking of but the AFURI kind 3. Nasu: the smoked eggplant with ginger, DELICIOUS. But Iwouldn?t get it again, not a big ???? gal 4. Shishito: it tasted like a grilled/smoked shishito pepper but a million timesbetter. Just try it and thank me later!! 5. Saba Shioyaki: holy mackerel. This is a whole meal on its own okay.. like don?t tryto be kind and share it. You need this for yourself. For the main meal: I got the yuzu ratan, which is their spiciest ramen. Itusually comes with chashu pork, I asked for no pork. Chicken broth usually doesn?t have much flavor, I was concerned it wouldhave more of a pho like broth. I was WRONG. I think a bowl on its own was definitely shareable! So splurge on the apps and get aramen to share. How romantic is that. I am totally go back to try the sushi. Oh and did I mention they have an outdoor patio?Oh and there was a puppy out there? so patio, dog friendly and AMAZING food. Yeah that?s a dream combo."
