"The lunch menu is creatively hand-written on the wall above the ordering area, making it easy to see your options. To reach the counter, you walk past a delightful display of house-made salads and sides. After placing your order, you can choose any available table or booth, and a friendly server will bring your food to you. I found my meal to be both tasty and satisfying. I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich paired with a broccoli salad. The sandwich was loaded with two or three kinds of cheese and juicy slices of ham. The broccoli salad was a pleasant surprise; it featured crunchy broccoli mixed with nuts (possibly walnuts), raisins, and a lightly sweet white dressing that I think was yogurt-based. I expected a savory dish, so this sweet twist was refreshing. On a subsequent visit for dinner, I tried the bruschetta chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables. Unlike lunch, dinner features table service, so you order your meal at the table. The bruschetta chicken was incredible—it was so flavorful that I could hardly focus on conversation with my dining companions, as I was completely absorbed in the taste of my dish. For dessert, the selection is limited to a few homemade treats that are prepared daily. We opted for the peanut butter and chocolate pie, which was impressive in its own right. It tasted like a rich, dense Reese’s cup but with even more chocolate. It’s become a treat I’m willing to drive the 50 miles to enjoy again. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visits to Gibby's and look forward to returning in the future."

"So, I have to say it's been 10 years since we ate here. And I read they've changed owners. And we just had to go there, right? Cuz it's famous, on South Park! We've got to check this place out while we're in Colorado. So when you go in, there was a turnstile (spelling? , when you get to the register, they have two choices. A plate with a flour tortilla and chicken, etc inside, some rice on the right, beans on the left. The other choice was rice on the left, beans on the right. So we paid and then you grab your cafeteria tray to get your food. By this time, I'm realizing why we had to pay first. I slid my tray across the metal bars and soon came to the serving area. There were about 20 trays under heat lamps. Each and every plate had beans that looked like they had been sitting there for a bit, it was starting to ooze over the side of the plate. The rice was actually stuck to the plate. Got my water, and after the Chimi Nazi stopped yelling at us to hurry up the line, we found a table and, little did we know, we were about to be entertained by the gorilla! Yes siree, the entertainment was nothing other than a diving gorilla. Some little skit played out, couldn't really hear great, but soon the gorilla dives into the water below! I was transfixed. I ate some of the tortilla and some rice, but the best was my water! Our waiter was pretty good, he brought us chips and salsa, and I think I had them make me a drink. Like I said, it looks as though they've been bought out, so hopefully it's somewhat better. But if you find out from a very good source they have not, don't waste your time or your money. Good luck to the SouthPark owners!"
