"Ate here with family during low traffic. The portions and pricing were as expected, around 15-20$ per person. It was an enjoyable experience overall. Atmosphere (5/5): The area is very nice, the seating was clean and simple. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of windows inside to feel the atmosphere all around the street corner. There was some enjoyable contemporary music playing at a comfortable volume. Service (4/5): The staff was very welcoming and polite, they always responded promptly and met our requests. I gave 4 stars because we had to ask for some things like spare plates to share the food. Food: Falafel (5/5): One of the best falafel I've had. It has a slightly unique taste compared to other falafel. It tastes like it is fresh and is a good balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mediterranean salad (4/5): Simple and fresh. I would prefer less pickles and olives so that there's less of a sour taste. Beef shawarma platter (2/5): The beef was well seasoned, but it was tough and chewy. This made it quite unenjoyable. We specifically asked the waiter if it was chewy before ordering, and he said it wasn't. I would seriously suggest using a different cut of beef or changing the cooking method. There was also more quantity of the sides and not much quantity of the meat, which was disappointing. Mejana platter (5/5): The platter came with kofta kebab, grilled chicken, and gyro meat (along with your choice of sides). All the meats on the platter were delicious. Sides and sauces (5/5): The hummus and babaganoush tasted simple and authentic. The fries were average. One of our favorites was the garlic sauce which paired so well with the meats and sides. We had to ask for more! Mejana has great food and I am certain that it will continue to improve and become even better. Best wishes to the wonderful staff and owners."

"Both the rice bowls and pita dishes were incredibly delicious, making it difficult to choose just one. The roasted vegetables were perfectly cooked, creating a delightful mix of flavors that complemented each other wonderfully. The falafel was undoubtedly the highlight, featuring a crispy exterior and a wonderfully spiced interior that left us wanting more. The attentive and friendly staff enhanced our visit, especially with children in our group. They were well-informed about the menu and eager to assist with any questions we had. A big thank you to the kitchen for catering to our dietary preferences without sacrificing flavor! We also appreciated the diverse drink selection, which ranged from refreshing sodas to tasty fruit juices. Every sip paired wonderfully with the vibrant flavors of our meal. The portion sizes were just right, allowing us to leave satisfied without feeling overly full. The reasonable prices further added to the value of our experience. Roti Mediterranean restaurant is truly a hidden gem, and we highly recommend it to fellow food lovers, particularly those in search of delicious vegetarian dishes. Whether you're a fan of rice bowls or pita, or can't resist well-prepared roasted veggies and falafel, this place has something for everyone. In summary, our lunch at Roti Mediterranean was a delightful experience. The fantastic food, friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere made for a memorable family outing. We can't wait to return and enjoy the flavorful offerings again! A heartfelt thank you to the staff and chefs at Roti Mediterranean for making our meal truly enjoyable. Five stars well-deserved!"

"I 've always loved Roti. Never really had a problem when I went into order. I decided to do online ordering today. I think this is my second time. I received the text, and went to pick up my food. Like always I checked my food to make sure it 's correct. I however did not see the sauces on the side like I asked. So assume they put it on there. However I decided to still ask for them. So I went to the cashier. She was currently helping a customer so I patiently stood there waiting for a few minutes not interrupting. You know, being the courteous, faithful and patient customer that I am. Mind you she never acknowledged me or said I 'll be with you in one minute . I was the only person standing there and it wasn 't busy at the time. Usually I don 't make this a race thing, but today that 's the way that I felt. So I 'm standing there, this white guy walks up. Clearly minutes after I did. I know she saw me because I was literally standing right there at the counter, he was behind me to my right. Who do you think she acknowledged first? Sure wasn 't me! She looked right past me and asked could she help him. Not only that, she asked would he like a cup to get a drink while he waited for the non gluten free pita he ordered. Then she went back to the customers she was checking out. At this point I interrupted her and said excuse me, I was standing here too . I wanted to see if they put the sauces on here or did they forget? She said they put them on there (my salad). I was so heated, and felt so disrespected! As I turned to walk away , she asked did I want an extra one. I just said nope and kept walking. I 'm not even hungry anymore. What hurts even more, not that it makes it even better, is the fact that she was Hispanic. Well looked hispanic to me. I should have gotten her name! Thanks for ruining my lunch and my until now, positive experiences at Roti at the 16th and K, NW location!"
