"04/20 received a flyer of their menu and prices, had not heard of New Yorker Pizza until today. Decided to change the already established dinner plans, ordered the Deluxe Supreme, garlic knots, and chocolate cake. It was really good but I could tell it was missing something. SALT! I had not realized how much salt sodium goes into many of these pizza delivery spots food. Excessive salt was noticeably missing, bravo. Pizza was tasty and high quality ingredients, as were the garlic knots. The chocolate cake, easily served as dessert for 2. It was the kinda chocolate cake that leaves you wanting more. Very rich, immensely satisfying the sweet tooth. Was quoted 45 minute delivery, actually took 52 and i'm ok with that. Anything less than an hour is acceptable as long as the food arrives properly hot. Which it totally did."

"We dined at the Former Saint Craft Kitchen during restaurant week, both the food and the service was not up to the standard of a fine dining establishment. The prices were exactly the same as the standard menu, defeating the purpose of restaurant week. There were no specials offered on wine from our server whom we had to chase down to get refills on water or another glass of wine. All the appetizers except for one was cheese, maybe a meat and cheese plate would have been a better fit. Unless you are from Wisconsin, I wouldn't consider cheese curds fine dining. When booking the reservation, I wasn't aware the Former Saint was a hotel restaurant (this should be disclosed on the description). This establishment is what I would expect from a hotel restaurant when I travel for business, however, this place should not be considered fine dining in comparison to other restaurants in Downtown Denver."

"I've been here twice in the last 3 days for lunch. I often ask for unusual combinations when I order a sandwich. I am sort of a Reuben connoisseur and like to mix up my protein choices. I asked for a blackened haddock filet instead of the sliced pastrami that is often the usual. The sandwich was absolutely amazing with just the right amount of saurekraut balanced with thousands Is. dressing. The marbled rye bread was nicely toasted and held up well with the moist ingredients. The haddock was perfectly cooked and succulent beyond belief. What a well balanced sandwich! The best I have had since a chunked corned beef brisket reuben up in whitewater Wisconsin. The sweet potatoes fries were awesome too. Page, our waitress, was very accommodating with my unusual requests and even had extra blueberries added to my Blueberry ale. All around a great experience! Thanks to Page for an extraordinary meal and service!"

"Love their foods! Me and my husband 's favorite is their lasagna!!! Anyone should definitely try it. It 's the best! And i love their pita and hummus as well! Also when i picked up our orders from them one time they provided an amazing costumer service! update: 11/02/23 Id like to add another amazing review for these restaurant: This is one of my most fave restaurant in Monroe and even one of my most fave Mediterranean food place in Washington. They have tons of great foods!! and besides our most fave lasagna, their other pasta dishes and rice dishes are soo yummy as well!!! Also I 'm always a fan of their pita and hummus and even their spinach dips! In addition, i would say on top of their delicious foods, their customer service is just as great!!! I always get a nice customer service from 'em but today they went above and beyond with their service. So what happened is I ordered food from uber eats but the driver picked up the wrong order he delivered somebody elses and these order was a lot of foods which actually some of 'em are my faves but they didn 't have the one that i ordered which is yeah you guessed it Lasagna which i ordered for my husband to suprise him when he gets home. So I called the store and informed them of what happened. Then they found out that my order was still there. They apologized and the manager offered to drop the food off to our house eventhough i believe it wasn 't their fault but the driver because they verified the order with him before it was picked up. But these errors happen sometimes and probably driver didn 't mean to pick up the wrong order as well. But the restaurant handled the situation well. I 'm so greatful of MELISSA the manager to drive all the way to our home to hand off the order to me and so nice she even added extra pita and hummus for us!!! Thank you Melissa the restaurant is blessed to have you an an amazing staff like you! I would say I 'm pretty blessed myself today cuz on top of me getting my lasagna order, I also get to keep all the other extra tasty foods as well! "Don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior, this unassuming eatery is a hidden gem. Food is always ready for pick up within twenty minutes of the order. I am a vegetarian, and after two years of ordering consistently from them, I have yet to tire of the falafel over rice with extra white and red sauce). Yesterday I added the Sweet Potato Ginger Soup and a slice of carrot cake. Delicious, freshly-prepared, true to its cultural roots, well-priced and a wide selection that should please any palate; their staff is always warm and friendly. A cafe nearby which I also enjoy) charges double for their carrot cake, which may be as good, but certainly not better. Hop in for a bite next time you get off at Oceanside Train Station, or order for pick up next time you are hungry and don't want to splurge."

"Update: 2nd time order in person at the store last week. Ordered the baked lamb for weekday dinner. It was luke warm and not very flavorful. I was shocked considering my UberEats order below (2.5 weeks before) was piping hot and tasty AFTER delivery. The potatoes were lukewarm. I had a guest so didn't want to cause a fuss to warm it up or redo it. So bummed considering I was 10 feet from where it was made. Unless they already had it made and just heated it.. IDK, but it really disappointed me that my home delivery order was 5x hotter and steamy than the in-person. Will order from somewhere else for a while.1st time order. Chicken kebabs were tender, juicy, and well spiced. Right temp too. Not luke warm. Greek salad was fresh and didnt skimp on feta cheese. Lemon potatoes were delish. Will order again."

"I hate doing this to local spots but I tired giving this place another chance after a screw up last year. I Ordered take out pizza and ended up having to take it back after plastic was found in it (not a big deal, it happens). They offered to remake it and refund (which I never got). I don’t care about the refund as much as I care about the size of the pizza. I paid $20 for 16in pizza, but I got a 12in. On the bright side The pizza was good."

The owner took the time to offer me some falafels he thought I would enjoy, and he was spot on—they were fantastic! It's a takeout-only restaurant, and for $20, I received a generous portion that could easily serve as dinner and still leave enough for a second meal. "We were passing through from Memphis and decided to give this restaurant a try. It was definitely the best decision we could have made! "The owners of this establishment found my family's dog but failed to contact us using the number on his tag or the lost dog posters displayed throughout the neighborhood. They kept him for at least a week before we were informed of his whereabouts. We were fortunate that a Good Samaritan, passing by the store, spotted our dog inside. When we first approached the owners about our missing pet, they were evasive until we showed them the picture of the dog that the Good Samaritan took inside their store. Shockingly, they then demanded payment to return our dog. What kind of heartless individuals would treat a family this way, especially around the holidays? If you want to be part of a community, you should act like a good neighbor, not exploit people in their time of need. Disgraceful!"
