"First off, I will start by saying I was not offered a free visit to give a review. My friends and I were having a bday brunch and found this restaurant while we were scrambling for another choice as the initail brunch spot had some issues and we could not eat there anymore. This is just my honest opinion! Parking: It is not as easy to find the parking lot, but they have clear signs about where to find parking. The parking garage has a lot of parking spaces and you can validate your ticket at the restaurant! So yes, even though it is a paid parking garage, it is free for paying guests. Food: Since this is a buffet style meal, some items were a hit, and some were meh!. We were a party of five, and each tasted something different! Everyone loved the sweet potato and pastrami hash. The biscuits were smaller in size than what I am used to, but I think that was perfect, and the eggs were very creamy! Another hit at the table was the fruit and yogurt the shrimp and grits the seasoning used was to die for). The quiche was cold, and the Mac Cheese and turkey sausage were so so. All in all, the food was tasty, and the only big issue I had was not really the taste but more environment. Since it is a buffet style, you have to go get your own food, which is located in the kitchen area. In this case there are certain things I prefer to leave to my imagination when I eat out just because of who I am as a person and so for me seeing that, I was not enticed to eat properly. I was just making it clear that the restaurant was not dirty and I did not observe any unclean practices, but because I was going through an active kitchen, I did not feel enticed to eat. Again, this is just a personal ick and one of the reasons I give the restaurant 4 stars because for that price point, I want all my senses to be wowed. Drinks: The drinks were wonderful. Most people in my party got the Orange Mimosas, which did what it had to do. It was strong and just the perfect buzz for brunch. Service: The service was good. We were seated pretty quickly, and luckily, there was no wait time. As soon as we sat, they took our drink orders, and then we went to eat. Throughout our meal, we were always checked on, and I really appreciated that!"

"Husband and I dined here last night and wish we had checked it out ages ago. Sea Bear is located in an old bottling factory, now called The Bottleworks . It 's a really neat location in Athens, a bit removed from the more hectic downtown area. There is parking off Prince, behind the Bottleworks, although the restaurant itself is on Prince Ave. The space is on the smaller side, so this is definitely more of a meet-up date spot, and probably not a great option for large groups, although the menu said they offer catering. The dining area was pretty full, as was the bar, but we were seated right away. The cocktail and beer options looked interesting, but we decided to try a local ginger ale, Ginger 's Bunkhouse Spicy Ginger Ale . The menu has a good mix of small plates and entrees, as well as an impressive selection of oysters. We both loved the roasted local veggie plate that included carrots and turnips. The veggies had a nice char on the outside, and were packed with flavor. We thought about ordering a second plate, but wanted to make sure we had room for all the oysters and the low country boil (Sea Bear 's Thursday special). The low country boil was delicious. The corn on the cob was a little too spicy for my taste (it competed with the spice in the ginger ale), but the shrimp was really good. Sea Bear 's version did not include crawfish, just shrimp, but it was done well and we 're glad we ordered it. The oyster selection was a mix from PEI, NB, MA. We got a sampling of the oyster varieties, and ordered seconds of the St. Anne 's, Glacier Bay, and Thatch. This satisfied our oyster cravings, and we will definitely return."
