"We were staying at The Cardinal and had lunch in the restaurant. It was so disappointing. The service was super slow. I suspect it was mostly due to the kitchen but while we waited we weren’t offered another drink or anything else. The French onion soup broth is good. The onions were not caramelized though. The cheese was high quality. The chicken sandwich was both burnt and cold. Quite an accomplishment really. For a $19 sandwich it was underwhelming. The waitress asked if we wanted it remade but after waiting 30 minutes for it the first time we didn’t have time. We didn’t eat it. So, we left hungry.
