"This restaurant thinks and acts as though it 's a restaurant of high caliber, but it falls woefully short. It starts by notifying at the time of making reservations of a strict dress code , which they publish, then they reiterate the strict dress code when they call the day prior to confirm, and again there 's a sign at the entrance: however, despite all of the warnings they allow people in with torn jeans and sneakers, etc. Let 's come back down to earth and not be so self impressed. We asked the waiter to serve our drinks before bringing out the first of 2 appetizers, with a break between the 2. But he brought out the first appetizer, and followed with the drinks after, with the second appetizer coming before we finished the first. Exactly what we did not want. The server blamed it on the kitchen not my issue, that 's internal. If you are going to charge high prices, which I am willing to pay, then live up to that quality of service. When the main dish arrived (a whole fish for 2 of us), both it and the side dishes were not hot. The response: we don 't serve fish hot because we want it moist. Does that mean to suggest that fish isn 't hot when it comes off the grill at the point it is still moist? Of course it is, but it needs to be timely served, and that 's the problem. They offered to heat it up , but we choose instead to call it quits and left. Not the way to present a $63 entree. In total, a very disappointing experience. To top it off, Kyma reported to OpenTable that we did not appear for our reservation, which is certainly not true. I 'd be happy to show Kyma copies of my to and from Uber receipts, should they continue to claim otherwise."

"Overall just a so so experience which was disappointing considering it was my spouse’s birthday dinner with family. For the positives, the appetizers were fantastic and the interior was nice. The issue is the negatives. Perhaps the appetizers were too good because the mains were nothing better than so so. This is supposed to be an upper scale Italian restaurant yet there was no “experience”. Plates were simply thrust in front of you apparently already seasoned the way they thought you should want and pasta served already with Parmesan on top instead of asking if you wanted it which was unfortunate for our son since he doesn’t like Parmesan and we had to rake it off. The vegetables served with a carne (meat) dish were overly salted and neither in the party could eat them, which went unnoticed by the staff and even when told, we received a “oh I’m sorry” not a let me get the manager or anything and in fact, in the multi course meal, never once did management check in on the table. The final straw was the restaurant allowing a small dog to be brought into the restaurant and held by the patron with its paws on the table despite them having an outdoor patio area. This was not a service dog, this was a small dog in a sweater that was brought into the restaurant in a carrier and then pulled out once they got to the table. This is a health issue and against local code."

"I wanted to love this place, local spot, beautiful interior, varietal menu. I have never been so disappointed. We walked in with a reso, were sat in a perfect corner table. Waiter brought glasses, no water and because my husband had a drink from the bar, didn't take my order. Came back a few minutes later with water, no wine and asked about specials. We ordered the truffle corn pizza as an appetizer and we were completely underwhelmed. The food was flavorless and left much to be desired. We ordered the ribeye and bolognese for entrees, again disappointing. The steak was not well seasoned and tasted of char from a dirty grill. The pasta was okay, but nothing special. It's actually sad we were told this was the best dish on the menu. When we asked for the check, we were confused when the whiskey prices for the same glass were different. The waiter took it to the bartender, printed a MORE EXPENSIVE receipt and came back asking us to pay. When we questioned this he explained they mis-charged us for one of the drinks, and the new price is correct. Are you kidding me? We were frustrated by the fact that us questioning the charges increased our bill, so the server can't back with yet another check. This time he took off the optional service charge. No resolution for their mistake, we mentioned the poor quality of the food, and then were told we can make it known if we didn't like it. At this point I felt like we were being taken advantage of and I was ready to go. $400 later, we walked out with a mediocre meal and a terrible experience. Don't waste your time here, there are so many better restaurants in town. Now I know why I was able to get a V-day reservation 2 days before. Needless to say we will never return."
