"Basho has been in operation for quite some time, and I can’t believe it took me this long to pay a visit. It’s a solid fusion Japanese restaurant. I tried the spicy miso udon noodle soup, which was good for miso lovers, but the beef was simply chopped pieces added to the dish, which felt quite mediocre. The pork USA dish was flavorful, and I enjoyed the spicy tuna maki roll as well. I ordered two servings of uni, which were nice, but the rice quality didn’t meet my expectations. The tempura ice cream was rather average—it was a bit soggy and didn’t contain enough ice cream. The mochi ice cream was just okay as well. The service was decent, but it felt like a child was managing the larger parties. I also tasted the sirloin beef, which was really good. I’d think about returning to try more items on the menu, but my first impression was merely average."
