"I've eaten here many times but the server we had today was boarderline incompetent. He said it was his first day, which clearly showed because I repeated my order to him or times, each time he repeated an item on the menu that I did not order. I also ordered multiple appetizers and requested that my salad be brought out first. The salad was broiught out last and ended up in a take-out box. Again, I really like this restaurant and understand the employee shortage issue affecting every industry. However, please ensure your new employees are put in a position to succeed and are trained prior to taking the floor"

"I want to start by saying that the pizza here has fantastic flavor! The sauce is definitely savory, which suits my taste much better than the odd choice of sweet pizza sauce. The New York-style pizza features a thin and crispy crust, making for an overall delicious pie! My only concern is the use of a lower-grade mozzarella cheese. I've noticed that after the pizza sits for 10 to 15 minutes and the cheese cools, it quickly becomes rubbery in texture. High-quality mozzarella should remain stringy and gooey even after reheating at home. This is why I’m giving this place four stars. If they upgraded to a better cheese, I would gladly give them the fifth star. To the owners, please consider using premium mozzarella, as we’re paying premium prices for the pizza. We would hate to stop visiting because of this issue. On a positive note, the salads here are excellent and come in generous portions. I particularly enjoy the Gyro and the bacon chicken avocado salad. The service is satisfactory. If Kings starts using a better cheese, I will happily give them the fifth star they truly deserve!"

"MUST try. We 've passed this pizzeria so many times because it 's in a small shopping center. We were so tired of all the pizza places out here so we decided to give them a try (I 'm a 1st generation Italian) We actually didn 't get the pizza because of all the different dishes looked so delicious, we had to try them I had a Sausage, Pepper, and Onions sub. (Oh, the good old days) Husband had a cheese steak sub. We loved them both. Extremely clean, excellent servers, wonderful cooks. Also, very attentive. The decore is awesome. You will see by the pictures. They also sell wine and they have some outdoor tables again, the server 's went out to the family there sooo many times. The atmosphere is very nice, the restaurant is bright, and comfortable. I don 't know why I 'm saying this but, the tables are very large and spacious. Ladies, You can actually get in and out of the Booth without having to scooching. (You know what I mean). I stood up and WALKED in and out without any scooching LOL The prices are equivalent to any other pizzeria but you will be happier to pay the prices here. DID I MENTION the sell pizza by the SLICE? I love that. I don 't want to get a whole pie for just 1 or 2 slices As an Italian, I say Try it, you 'll like it See the wonderful pictures SORRY, I always forget to take the WHOLE meal because I 'm too busy drooling over my order. Great LARGE side salad also"

"We were starving and needed a quick bite to eat. Stopped in on a very humid 90 degree day. It was 100 degrees inside. The girl at the front said the AC was broken. We had to sit to eat unfortunately. We went into the side room where it went down to a cool 85 degrees. We had a regular slice, a pepperoni slice and a margaritas slice? A seltzer and a diet Pepsi bottle, $24 bucks. The place was dirty and there were bugs flying around. It's too bad because the slices were awesome. 3 stars for the pizza and the kindness of the young girl."

"This was my first time eating here. I had heard so much about the food and was really excited! The first thing I noticed was the sign on the door. It had the typical covid type guidelines, which is fine. The one thing that stood out was that they don 't allow workers to work when sick. My friend and I went into the restaurant and waited to be seated. It wasn 't busy and the few minutes we waited was no problem at all. I hear someone coughing quite a bit but wasn 't overly concerned. Then I realize it 's the person seating us and will be our server. She wipes her nose with her hand as she is seating us. That was gross. The server had a very surly attitude and made it clear she wasn 't the friendliest. She sized my friend and I up and down before seating us. My friend ordered a beverage and I would say it took roughly average time to get it but when my friend asked about the beverage the server said I 'm getting it in a harsh tone. This attitude continued the entire visit. She was absolutely terrible. Having a sick server was disgusting. She was coughing quite a bit our entire visit. Seems like the sign on the door didn 't apply the day I was there. I only gave 2 stars because the fries and the fry sauce were AMAZING! Otherwise I wouldn 't have even wanted to give one star. Last but not least, the roof leaking into a big bucket by the front door. Now this could have just started that day or been like that for months. Everything put together just made for a less than pleasant experience."

"I ordered a salad that was supposed to be ready by 12:34, but I ended up waiting until after 1:00PM. When it finally arrived, it was missing the dressing. I spent my whole lunch break waiting for plain lettuce like a bunny. There was no refund offered, no manager came out to address the issue, and there was no accountability. I am very disappointed."

"After arriving from LAX, we stopped at this nearby place for food. It took 10 mins to even be acknowledged and seated. The menu was nothing like the photos and had about 5 options that were completely overpriced. We ended up ordering, then 10 mins later, we were informed they didn’t have one of the 5 options(pot roast). It ended up taking 40 mins for our food, which was small portions and very average tasting. Also nothing about it was European as suggested, just basic american food. The calamari was good tho and the live music, which salvaged a meal with slow service and overpriced food."

"We ordered bolognese and pepperoni pizza. The bolognese is on point and the pasta used is pappardelle I think and it really worked with the sauce. The sauce is so flavorful, perfect balance of sour, sweet and spices. It was my favorite. The pizza is okay, my husband is not a fan because there is too much sauce that some part of the pizza is undercooked and the center is extremely soggy though flavor wise, was really good. I bet if the dough was done, it would be a really great pizza considering how good the bone was."

"I used to visit Piccolo frequently when they first opened, and now that they’ve moved to a new location, they continue to be the best in Catskill. The chef focuses solely on preparing dishes for the restaurant, and occasionally for takeout, yet the quality remains outstanding. I've never had a bad meal there, and the atmosphere is truly amazing. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant; it just has a fantastic vibe. The waitstaff and everyone else are wonderful, making for a great overall experience. I can't wait until summer when I can sit outside and enjoy the view of the water.
