"I wish the co-owner would come by and see the loyal customers. I used to eat there four times a week, but it’s just not the same anymore. The special used to be seven dollars, and now it's eight, but they don’t serve my favorite daytime dish, Chill Relleno, which I can hardly spell today! The owner's daughter was in grade school when I first started going, and now she’s probably graduated from high school. El Patron serves great food. Next time you visit, be sure to try the dessert menu—it's the best Mexican restaurant I've encountered since leaving Mexico."

"On 29 August 2022 I and my family went to Cabreras in Pasadena after our father's rosary, we were really mourning and wanted to enjoy a good drink and a good meal. We began to order our food to the female waitress, there were ten people in our group and only my one niece spoke Spanish, the others of us do not know how to speak Spanish. But when my niece ordered her food in Spanish, the waitress told her since you were the only ones who ordered in Spanish, you will receive a discount . The waitress told her we didn't know what was said in Spanish. But my niece told us all after the waitress left the table. I am a Mexican American, I have never learned to speak Spanish of my family when that happened in the restaurant I felt discriminated, I felt it was very racist and very unpleasant. I wanted to get my food, and the food wasn't good and left. You should not work a woman there who makes these comments to customers. I'll never go back there and neither my family. It is a shame that this waitress is such races, and Pasadena is born and raised my hometown. But will never eat there again."

"So I heard about this place from a new app that I got. I had placed a pickup order of half dozen pork tamales and five soft tacos and five hard tacos and the total came up to $80.00+ I was not going to pay that much for a new place that I was just nowtrying so I took soft tacos and the half dozen pork tamales $50.00+ that I could work with. Tamales were dry but the meat wasgood inside and the tacos were very delicious I'm going back for more and anything else that might catch my eye."

"Had a satisfying breakfast there, coffee smells and tastes great, patrons are all locals couples, families, friends, singles and even a table of 4 police officers, everybody seems content and belong, this really touched my heart. Had ruben and benedict, creamy and flavory. Only flaw was I ordered sweet potato fries, and got what seems more potato fries than sweet potato fries. They were busy so we didn't bother to ask if there were a mistake. Now I am kind of regretful about that..:p"

"Previously, to love this place, but tonight I was there the last time again. platz was maybe 60 to 70 full. they asked our server how long this would be waiting for food. we were perhaps told 30 minutes to be on the safe side. we waited for an hour to eat. the people who came after us came 20 minutes before us. mushroom Swiss burger filled the half of the bungalow. one of the orders was wrong. two people who drink drinks and wait for dinner were after approx. 30 minutes tells that the kitchen couldn't do what they ordered to continue to wait another 30 minutes for salads. updated feb22 they are back on curs with the delicious food n good help work."

"This is probably the best place to go for lunch on the west side. You get free chips and salsa, and a drink included with the $8 lunch specials. There is a nice list of options for lunch, so you can have quite a delicious meal for $8 plus tip. The restaurant was clean, the food was good, and the service was good too. "My husband ordered a cheesesteak Gyro for me. I asked pacifically for the white sauce, not the tiger sauce but the white sauce he told them that when my husband brought my food home we did I didn’t have the sauce on it. I called them they said nobody made that kind of cheesesteak Gyro I called they called me back. I spoke to someone else, and I was still talking and a person hung up on me. "Food was great. Service was legendary. Our server Jacob gave us the perfect rundown of the menu. We had the zucchini as our appetizer. It was warm and crispy, and the dill hummus gave it the perfect balance of flavor. I had the Thai chicken linguine with some crushed red pepper flakes on the side️. my husband ordered the walleye . Both our entrées tasted great. I loved my iced tea with an orange slice too. Jacob made sure our meal was perfect and that we had everything we wanted. We'll definitely be back."

"We stopped at Miller's while on a road trip and had the best experience imaginable. When we walked in, the corridor and lobby were clean as was the rest of the restaurant. The hostess seated us immediately. Our server wasted no time taking our order. For an appetizer we ordered the fried Portobello mushrooms served with house ranch. The breading was unlike any mushroombreading I've witnessed that appeared as whole grains and cornmeal. Outstanding! My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger withsteak fries and I opted for the fried catfish special with a house salad, onion rings and slaw. Both portions were spot on aswas the presentation. Everything appeared to be house made, a rarity we seldom enjoy today. It amazes me we drove past herefor the last decade without stopping. This will be our go-to from now on when coming back from visiting our family out ofstate."

"Our first time at Red Habanero. Overall had a great experience. The servers were friendly, the food was good. Well worth the price. I had the Azteca burrito. Had freshly sliced avocado, and though the meat itself lacked the expected flavor, the rest if the ingredients pulled it together. She had one of the Chicken Lime Cream burrito, which comes covered in queso and cilantro. She loved it and was only able to eat half. My 10yo son had the Ground Beef Tacos with Pico and he cleaned his plate. The queso was a bit on the runny side but the taste was on point, coupled with the house salsa, the chips were a great appetizer."

"We have been coming to Moreno's for several years and have always enjoyed the food both dine in as well as take out. However on our visit this time I was surprised when I received the bill it was approximately what I expected it would be until they brought the credit card slip for me to sign. There was a 3% service charge on the bill.I don't understand the rationale of putting the service charge at the very end of the bill process. If they want to build that into the price of the food I would prefer to see that rather than showing an extra fee at the end when I'm signing for the charge.This business practice will make me think twice before dining at Moreno's again."

"Called and placed an order over the phone. They don’t accept Apple Pay which in 2024 if you don’t accept Apple Pay then it should be said over the phone. Then I get home to missing items on my order. I called and they said oh it’s right here in front of me (missing items) why didn’t they call before I drove 25 mins home to tell me I left part of my order than offer to take it off the order and I come get it… well that’s damn near another hour drive… simple things, common sense, and consideration …. "I had the taco salad and it was very good. They make their own ranch dressing and it is the best I have ever had. I also had the caramel pecan pie which was light, fluffy and oh so delicious! The staff was so friendly and very helpful. My friend asked so many questions and our server never got annoyed and was happy to help and answer all her questions. "I regret having to write this review, but I feel it's necessary for others to see. This used to be my go-to pizza place, but I can no longer continue patronizing it. During my last few visits, the pizza has frequently been undercooked. On my last visit, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my order because they were busy with a larger order that came in after mine. When I finally got home, the dough was still raw. Today, I received yet another nearly raw pizza, along with a hoagie that was soggy, despite asking for the dressing on the side. I'm consistently disappointed with the undercooked pizza and the frequent mistakes with my orders."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I discovered it through advertisements on Instagram and was intrigued by the appealing food, so my decision to give it a try was a good one. We arrived just before the dinner rush and the restaurant quickly filled up. The servers were attentive and took our order shortly after we were seated. Our food arrived promptly and was served piping hot and beautifully plated. I tried the Champion burrito with pork and Chile Relleno, which was so large that I could only finish half of it. "The best way to describe this place is a Lodge. You very much get the feeling of being in a lodge/cabin. All in all though a very warm feeling. I prefer yeasty bread, but this was good. The person I was with ordered the Whitefish $14), with a dinner salad and fries. It was stated to be excellent and a good portion. Sides were also excellent. The service was very professional, quick, and friendly. Overall an easy 5 star review! Would I return? Absolutely! I loved the atmosphere and the food. Also bonus points for a very nice bathroom."
