"It was a really delicious meal; but we were disappointed in NOT being in the main dining room even though we had reserved a week earlier. One of my guests felt that we were stuck in the side room which was not the best. The waitress was sort of on task; but not really and the busboy actually over attended to the water glasses to the point that it was annoying. Surprised that a place that has been in business this long doesn 't have excellent service and well trained wait staff...."

"Took my family out for breakfast before the 4th of July parade. Ordered simple breakfast sandwiches and kids meal. 40 minutes after we ordered, still no food. It was not busy. We were able to finally track down our waiter and he replied, “I thinkit’s the next ticket up.” At this point we said no thanks and left. We missed the parade. This isn’t the only timewe’ve experienced bad service here. No, I do not recommend. Go to Maynards for great food excellent service."

"We thought the common records were a great idea. The food was really good and we share every dish between three people. We ordered four and took home most of the bread, which was enough for lunch the next day. We tried the Brahmin salad, chop the lamb, a noodle dish with chicken and steak flat bread. It's great. Waiter was very nice and helpful. Only the disadvantage was the loud music. We were there at 4pm, so no need to have it so invasive when trying to eat and talk to friends. In the evening, when it's a dance club, that's okay. I'll say the waiter put it a bit on our request, but someone turned it up again before we're done. There were fewer than 10 people eating in this early hour, no reason to radiate music. Restaurant is very dark, but it looks fine. All in all, we would definitely go back."

"The restaurant was bustling, but despite its small size, it was pleasantly quiet. The steak empanadas were exceptional, as was the special calamari arrabiatta. Everyone except me ordered the chicken sleep and loved it. I went with the chicken cap, which was delicious. The chocolate chip lava cake was worth every calorie. Our server, Stephanie, was very attentive, and the manager stopped by to check on us. He recommended trying their brunch, and we’ll definitely have to do that. I've passed by this restaurant numerous times, but now I’m determined to return for their delicious food and excellent service. A big thank you to the staff and chef—we’ll be back soon!"

"We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff as soon as we arrived. Although we had a 7 PM reservation, we showed up early and were seated within just a few minutes. Our waitress, Emily, provided exceptional service, giving us plenty of time to review the menu and regularly checking in on us. The menu offered an excellent variety, and the tri-tip was incredibly tender and flavorful. Chef Marty even came to our table to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. To top it all off, the dessert was outstanding! We enjoyed the plantains with ice cream, and the beignets were a big hit, especially with the assortment of sauces. Thank you, Chef Marty, Emily, and the entire staff. We will definitely be back!"

"I am a long 19 year veteran of dining at Lopez. My wife and I and 2 friends went for dinner on 8/16/24. We were seated in the area we requested and were approached by our waitress who failed to introduce herself. Her response to questions that were asked were very short and abrupt. There was no attempt by her to interact in any with us. To put it bluntly, she was rude and not what we have come to expect at our favorite restaurant. After we ordered drinks she returned approximately 15 minutes later. She asked if she could take our orders, never mentioning what specials were available until I asked. She took our order and we did not see her for 25 minutes. When she did approach our table, I enquired what was taking so long with our dinner and her response was well it has only been 25 minutes. At that point in time, we were ready to leave and she offered to send over her manager. We explained in detail to the manager what had taken place and he immediately set about to make things right. He checked on our orders and informed us that they would be out shortly. He also wisely assigned us a new waitress (Tammy) who was professional and friendly. There followed visits from 2 other supervisors who insured us that the issue had already been addressed. They were kind enough to comp us our deserts, coffees, and deducted 20% from our check. They made our evening end in an enjoyable manner. Needless to say we will never be served by that waitress again. FYI, if you are interested in good service, personality and knowledge, request Jenna{Paint Sip}, Destiny, Or Tammy. You can 't go wrong with any of them. Kevin Mc Manus"

"WE had the most horrible experience there. Went for lunch after our Spa appointment. We waited over an hour for a basic turkey sandwich and a smash burger. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. Once we flagged her down, she had nothing but attitude instead of trying to fix the situation. There were 4 other tables seated an hour after we were and were getting their food, while we were still waiting for our food. We had to get the manager to bring out food. And this was for my husband's birthday for a relaxing afternoon. UGHHHH"

"We had dinner at the Hilltop Park tonight and ordered two cocktails each and two main courses. Our bill came to over $150. Unfortunately, it was impossible to get the attention of the server without shouting. I tried flagging him down, but no luck. He did not even turn his head to glance at our table after we received our dishes. I noticed the table next to us had the same issue and I overheard them yelling to get the servers attention. I was hoping to have my water refilled at least once so I could enjoy my meal (it was hot outside, I was thirsty! , and also wanted to order a second cocktail (which I eventually did, but it was a struggle . The place was not crowded I'd estimate maybe 5 other tables of customers. There were other staff aside from the server and I'm not sure why they weren't helping to serve water, clear the tables, etc. I noticed that gratuity is added to the bill, and in this case, where the service was nearly non existent, I found the self tipping very annoying. This place should do as other reviewers have suggested add gratuity when it's a large party, but let small parties determine the tip. That will keep the servers more accountable for providing service. They have no incentive to do so with the self tipping method. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"

"Told the bartender that we were in a rush to make the Tate McRae concert at Madison Square Garden. He accommodated us by putting in our order and bill quickly so that we would be able to leave with enough time to make it before the show started. He didn’t have to, but he did and we’re grateful for that. The burger was so good and the cocktails were so well balanced. 10/10"
