"After we placed our orders, she informed my friend that she needed to hold onto his debit card. He understandably refused, expressing concern about potential information theft. Instead of addressing his concerns professionally, she insisted she was just doing her job and added "to each his own," which felt unnecessary. Eventually, my friend offered her his ID instead, which she accepted.
From that point on, we felt completely ignored. The server never came back to check on us, and her demeanor was unwelcoming. When we finally wanted to order more drinks, we had to approach another server who admitted they didn’t know where our original server was. Eventually, she returned, and we managed to place our drink order.
When we were ready to leave, we waited in vain for her to bring us our cups. As we saw her passing by, my friend attempted to communicate with her, but she ignored him and kept walking. Frustrated, he asked another young blonde staff member for two to-go cups, only to return and tell me that she had been rude and made a snide remark, seemingly upset that he hadn’t thanked her after receiving the cup.
To top it off, this staff member was smoking a hookah and conversing with other employees in a very unprofessional manner. When I inquired about her name, she leaned over and sarcastically replied, “Bianca.” I’m not sure if the place is under new management, but it’s clear that the staff needs a significant overhaul. Their behavior is unprofessional, and it doesn't look good for the restaurant, especially with so many negative reviews regarding their service.
Oh, and the calamari we ordered tasted like rubber. By the way, I tried calling to speak with someone, but there was no way to reach anyone."
