"My wife and I are house shopping in the area and stopped in for dinner. Food was excellent and the staff from the hostess, waitress and manager were delightful. They asked if we wanted to be part of their rewards program. If we buy in that area we'll absolutely become rewards members. They had a Tuesday night game where you pick a number 1-16 and they pull a number from a jug. If you guess right you eat for free. Great idea. We look forward to stopping in again soon!"

"we sat on two other guests. no time offered a server water or asked for drinks for 15-20 minutes until we requested a server. we had two server, the second is better and more attentive than the first. we have eaten here several times, but we found that eating this trip well, but not exceptional for the price. the dessert was as always very good."

"I was unimpressed with my dish (skip the tex mex wrap), but the other dishes my group ordered all looked pretty good. The menu is a bit overflowing with choices which some people like, I do not. I think it could be streamlined a bit since they also have a specials menu. The coffee is your standard diner coffee, which I say is a plus, and the staff did a good job keeping the coffee mug topped up. It's a solid diner but nothing I'd go out of my way for. If you're in the area and want breakfast it's worth the stop."

"Predictably horrible service (told to wait for our reservation, then told we didn’t have one, showed them then allowed to sit and be ignored most of the night only put up with this as we had our vegetarian person with us) excellent food, right inthe middle of Lake Anne seasonal events. "Each time our server approached our table, he looked like his dog just died. Stone faced, not even a small hint of a smile or greeting. Once we all finished our soup and then our entree salads, the server removed our plates and then disappeared for 20 minutes. We all just sat there wondering if he was ever going to come back and take our coffee order. Then… only because WE finally flagged him down ourselves as he was walking by going to another table, did he come back to our table so we could order coffees. If we had to wait much longer, we were just going to go to the bar and ask for our check, and forgo our coffees/cappucinos. Very weird experience."

"I noted on Open Table that it was my husband 's birthday. The hostess said, Whose birthday is it as we sat down. Other than that, there was no further mention of his birthday. Our server was attentive and our salmon delicious. The server told us about an amazing chocolate cheesecake that was the featured dessert. We ordered that and she soon returned to say that they just sold the last piece. It was only 5:30! The restrooms were filthy and the employees kept slamming the kitchen door into the row of booths where we were sitting. This was jarring."

"Homey local Italian spot with large portions. Came here in a group of four on a Friday around 7:30 and waited about 15-20 min to get a table. Metered street parking only (no private parking). Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. Two gender neutral restrooms available behind the hostess stand. They can accommodate large groups. Kid-friendly. They give you complimentary bread with olive oil and basalmic vinegar. I got the chicken Parmesan Hermosa which was huge, and made for great leftovers the following day for lunch. The shrimp gnocchi is also a good call if you like creamy white sauces. For those who are pickier, you can opt to customize your own pasta. The tiramisu “for two” can easily feed four people and is a good dessert option. Overall, for a spot that’s close to the pier but still with a local flair, this is the right call."

"I was passing through and decided to look up a breakfast place in Google maps and they steered me right. I had the house special biscuits with gravy (melted cheese, tomatoes and peppers with eggs with biscuits and a side of bacon). The service was very sincere and efficient. stop by and check this place out loved the interior lots of autographed guitars to check out. I must point out I tried to not take pictures of people there. But is was busy and then it got serious in there when church let out."

"All you can eat lobster will not disappoint. Market price retail is close to $40 per pound, a 2lb lobster is already $80 so getting the all you can eat lobster is a steal. I had close to 7 lobsters, some surpassing me. You get a salad and they give you two potato’s and an ear of corn on the cob. They have the special several times a month. It’s best to make a reservation, but if you get their early enough for dinner you may be seated right away."

"Went there Thursday night, first thing I noticed was they had those personalized sour cream squeeze tubes on the table as well as tarter sauce in a squeeze bottle. You just failed health inspection! I ordered the 10oz rib eye medium rare came to me really rare, Sent it back, came back to me medium. Oh well, I will live. My wife and 1 of my children each had the fried flounder sandwich, their claim was the sandwiches were good but the fries were cold. For dessert 1 child had vanilla pound cake, my other child asked for cheesecake and the waitress returned saying that it was frozen by she could bring it home were it would be thawed by then. Instead she ordered the fried oreos. I had them too,a bit on the greasy side. There you have it! The owner was nowhere in sight either, you would think they would be running the register. Just saying. Ain't going back, sorry!"

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better chefs with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Another Favorite!. We go to Casa frequently, but have found that their food can be a hit and miss. The Risotto Alberto is one of my favorites! In all honesty, they could easily cut their recipe in half and it would be an even greater restaurant! Many of their entrees don't have enough seasoning or have way too much pasta compared to meat and vegetables. They have gone a long way in the last 3 years to improve the menu, but some items are just not that great. The salad on the other hand is always has been and continues to be their crowning glory! Just having the salad topped with chicken makes a very filling meal. The desserts are also wonderful. Service is always excellent. This is another local Fort Wayne restaurant that we bring business associates to! As long as you know what to order, this place can be excellent."

"Came here on a Saturday night for my wife's birthday with 4 teenagers and had a great experience. Seafood and pasta dishes were excellent. My two sons both ordered the NY Strip and loved it. I've taken them to top notch steakhouses so they know their steak. It was cooked to perfection, well seasoned, nice char on outside and med-rare center. Service was excellent. Waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. They made substitutions to accommodate allergies at our table without any fuss. We've dined here once before. Both times we came because they had availability on a Saturday night when other restaurants in the area were fully booked. Went in a bit skeptical but were pleasantly surprised once again. Highly recommend giving Romola's a try. We will definitely be back."

"Took 10 minutes to get a server to greet us. Ordered diet coke and received something from a fountain that tasted more like flat RC. They do have cans of soda so be sure to ask for a can. Looked to my left and saw something on the salt that upon zooming in with a photo looked like a bug. After letting the server know, they came back showed me it was actually a price of metal from the salt shaker top. Cool not eating bugs but eating metal is better I guess. Server was very nice though. Onto the nachos... They put chili sauce instead of salsa on the nachos... Very strange. So chili nachos is what it should actually say on the menu. The salad was very humorous because it looked fantastic when it was put on the table, until you got underneath the show lettuce I 'll call it. Once you got past the fresh salad underneath was wilting and old greens. Old trick but still in fashion! I got a turkey club and my guest got a chicken breast meal with fries on the side. Fries never came, and my guest is presently firmly affixed to the toilet. The walls were dirty and the booths were ripped. In my guests ' booth she had a board coming up into the middle of the seat cushion. She had to sit to one side of it or the other. Final Thoughts: Very little care by the management/owners here is the only conclusion I can come up with. The store looks amazing from the outside, but the inside... Not so much. When the dining room looks like this you can imagine what the kitchen looks like. I would say only eat here if you were given a gift card like I was. The only saving grace was the server. He was ultra nice and accommodating. He should be working somewhere else because he 's way too good for the environment that he has to work in."

"Kudos to the staff handling the carry-out service on Christmas Eve! It must have required a tremendous amount of coordination to manage everything so seamlessly. The restaurant was packed with trays and bags on every table, yet every customer was served efficiently and with a friendly smile. Everyone I interacted with was kind, patient, professional, and polite. I was truly impressed with the entire experience!"

"I wanted to leave a 4, but couldn't in good conscience do it. The food is cheap which is probably the only thing it has going for it. The French toast was bland. Got the biscuits and gravy. I don't know how you could call those biscuits. They're more like dollar pancakes. Home fries were pretty much just potatoes; no onions or peppers to speak of. Onion rings while a good size with a lot of onion were just too greasy and soggy. Coleslaw was strictly out of a tub which is fine but to charge $3.50 for a tiny bowl of it was outrageous. Apple pie was ok but would've been nice if it was warmed up. The food is just cooked with zero love. I mean just no effort whatsoever. Just the bare bones minimum product you can whip together. The place itself was rundown. I know quaint and that wasn't it. The menus were falling apart. How much does it cost to just buy some new sleeves for your menus. The service was quick but she didn't even know if they had pie or coleslaw. Keep in mind its a tiny menu so I have no idea how you don't know this. I have no idea how anyone can give this place 5 stars."
