"not one fan, just because I ordered a thing, got another. they said it was what I ordered, but after the menu it was not. Why have different choices with different ingredients when they are all served the same? if a court has not listed paprika as an ingredient, then it should not have paprika. the service was terrible, she would have looked less. then argued with me about what I was served. unbelievable. they have pride in what they do or find another thing to do."

"I frequest this place because they have in my mind the best fried fish tacos on the peninsula. On my most recent visit I also ordered super nachos but had asked to have the chips, pico, guacamole, and creme set on the side because I live 30 min away and didn't want the chips to get soggy. The server obliged with adding an additional fee for I believe the extra containers which I was fine with. After getting home and prepping our dinner I found he forgot to put chips in the bag which totally made this visit a bad experience overall."

"Awful establishment. The moment I walked in, a terrible smell hit me, which should have been a clear sign to leave. However, I decided to give it a chance. Honestly, this place should be embarrassed by the food it serves. Everything, including the salsa, tasted old and seemed to have been sitting in the fridge for a while. They even served us moldy bread! We sent it back, and they promised to bring us fresh bread, but it was still moldy. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing. I can't believe they have an open kitchen; everything back there looked unclean."

"So they have this little station in front that they cook all your tacos on. You can walk up and order and just pay inside. Food: Lamb tacos!!!! If you don't know please try them they are juicy and delicious. Actually, all the tacos are really good i have yet to have a bad one. You won't find them on the menu because this location primarily does big plates, but they are available. Also try the Mr. Vicko's cheese dip, it comes with shrimp in it!!! This is true Latino food so if you want American style, this ain't for you.."

"I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the poor service from both the staff and the owner. Our dishes were served about 30 minutes apart, and we were charged for items that never arrived. When I addressed the issue with the owner, she was rude and refused to take responsibility, instead offering excuses for the poor service. The overall attitude was very unprofessional. I won't be returning and certainly don't recommend this place. If you're planning to visit with a large group, be aware that they struggle to handle it and the service will likely be inadequate. Additionally, the restrooms were unclean, with stains on the walls. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with both the service and the food."

"This restaurant is fantastic! The bread is incredibly fresh! I really enjoy their pan de bono and pan con queso. Their buñuelos are delicious as well. The restaurant is well-known for both breakfast and lunch. The staff is very friendly, and they even offer delivery! I'm so glad I discovered Cali Tajadas. If you're in the Bay Ridge area, you have to check this place out—you won't regret it!"

"Our dishes took half an hour to arrive, despite there only being three other tables occupied. We ordered chile water, and when the shrimp finally came, it was undercooked and hard to chew. I ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes for them to cook it properly. The lemon juice was excessively sour, and the sauce was incredibly spicy—so much that we couldn't enjoy the shrimp at all, and we typically handle spicy food well. Overall, my experience was very disappointing."
