"I was looking forward to a nice, Saturday, dinner out with my guy. We dressed for the evening and drove from Kent. Our server was friendly, but the overall experience was really underwhelming. The menu had an Asian flare (not Mediterranean as the website indicates , drinks were not mixed well, the decor is very basic, and the food was just not good (overly sweet sauces, overcooked fish, etc. I enjoy a good meal and don't mind paying for it. District just doesn't execute well, so it's best to go elsewhere."

"Bad service, it was booked in advance for a birthday, it was not received like other restaurants, it was never mentioned that it was a special occasion (birthday), not even in the dessert, and the piece of meat like it was in Water thawed, tasteless, uncooked and hard, I don't think we will be back, this is the third time we go and it was very bad, I don't recommend it"

"We went early on a Saturday evening. Everything they brought to the table from the bread to the coffee was first rate. The food is not only well prepared but creative and impressive. Portions are generous. We recommend the Berkshire Pork Chop and the Asian style cod. We haven't been here in awhile and will definitely return."

"with friends for Sunday brunch. I wasn't in backfin in the awhile, but always loved her eier benedikt, the best everywhere. my pet peeve with the dish is so many chefs add too much lemon, backfin’s was always perfect, creamy with just one hauch of tang. well, I hope they just had a back type on this day working on the sosse because the amount of lemon was much to do, it was all I could taste. cocktails were very good (although there was a bit too many with a form of grapefruit in them that no one can have in our table due to allergic or medicaments), but we simply went with the two few who were not form of grapefruit and they were beautifully made. the two people with whom I enjoyed their omeletts very much. also the Brussel shoots were excellent. also our appetizer, who was ceviche with crab meat, was very good. the service was excellent. I hope they re-adjust their hollandaise sauce and/or this was just a free day in the kitchen, I would try the benedikt again without hesitation because it was so good earlier I didn't just give up!"

"Doris was our waitress who was so attentive, friendly, and fast. The decor of the restaurant was very modernized and chic. The staff were all engaging and friendly. The drinks and food were definitely delicious and on point. The food was so fresh,authentic to taste, and cooked to perfection. My cousin and I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again!!! Parking was alittle tight but not unbearable to find in the area or plaza next door. Thank you Doris for a great experience…"

"We were camping at Jordan lake and was looking for a place for a good meal. We noticed it from Harris teeter and looked up the menu. The menu was what we were looking for and a 4.5 rating so we decided to try it. OMG, 4.5 isn't close, how about a 6! The smoked brisket with homemade Cole slaw and pimento cheese was out of this world. The sweet potato fries are real potatoes. Hubby had a burger that was done perfectly, we split an order of homemade onion rings, they were huge and delicious. I also had a Raspberry Margherita with real Raspberries. Our waitress was Sabrina, she couldn't have been any sweeter or attentive. We highly recommend eating here, well worth it"

"Our server was exceptional, professional, and polite. The host was not so great. We wanted to dine on the terrace, but there was a wait due to only one server working. We provided our phone number so we could be seated once a table became available. We ended up waiting for over 2 hours without being seated, as the host kept seating other parties ahead of us. When we asked our server what was happening, we gave her our number and she spoke to the host, who started making excuses. At that point, my friend requested to speak to the manager out of frustration. The manager was understanding and offered our group a 20% discount. Overall, the restaurant service was good, the server was friendly, and the restrooms were clean, but the host dropped the ball."

"We had brunch on Sunday. On a positive note, the place is pleasant, restaurant is beautiful and the service is good. But the brunch menu is just terrible. Almost all dishes contain bread. Bread for appetizer, salad with bread and tomatoes (I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere), something like pizza, one piece for four, one burrata for four, four pieces of yellowtail for four and one entree of your choice. We took all the different entrees and didn't like much any of them. Also, the online menu is different from the restaurant menu. If you want to eat bread for $95 and leave hungry, then come. I don't know why the reviews are good, maybe the dinner is much better. But we are very disappointed with the brunch. This one was the worst. I very rarely write reviews, but their poor menu really surprised me. I am sorry for a bad review, but you have to change your brunch menu definitely. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $100+"

"I was in Boise on business and just happened to walk by this place. My first impression was not one of a pizza place. I saw just another bar slinging microbrews and passing off bar food as restaurant cuisine. At the end of my meal, I found nothing to convince me otherwise. If you can put yourself in this mindset Front Door does offer slightly above average pub grub and reasonable prices. I had a cobb salad. This is my go-to meal when on the road and in a new place. The service was quick and the meal enjoyable. Overall I found Front Door a nice enough place for either a quick meal or a place to hang out and have a few drinks."
