"Pomegranate is one of the more puzzling restaurants. It's objectively a nice place to eat, and the concept and menu are both well constructed. Where it falls short is execution. The burger $23), for example, is probably worse than many nicer fast food burgers. It tastes like something an amateur would make at home. The steak was decent, but not worth the $40+ price tag. The fries were absolutely drenched in oil. We ordered an old fashioned but they quite literally just forgot the simple syrup, and had to correct it. It's too bad, because it deserves to be a great restaurant, but from my experience they need to work on the kitchen operations."
