"The food is amazing. Let me say again, the food is amazing. The setting, tables, chairs, it 's all pretty grungy, but it 's okay, it 's comfy, just not all that pretty. The bathrooms are terrible. But... the food is amazing, don 't forget that. Moving down the line now, service would be one star except the hostess was nice and we were seated within 5 minutes. Our waitress was either really dense or just an uncaring jerk. We ordered our drinks and she was on her heels turning away before we could even get our appetizer order in. We stopped her and did order them. Then it was close to 10 minutes of her walking past our table 5 or 6 times without stopping to take our order, this included dropping off OUR DRINKS, my daughter started to say what she wanted to order and the waitress walked away... really? She finally did get our order taken, just as the appetizers were coming out, did I mention the food was amazing? The appetizers were really great. While eating the appetizers she walks up and just grabs our drinks (half full) without asking and heads off to fill them up. Look, some people may find that on the ball, good job but we didn 't ask for refills yet. The timing was just bizarre. Our main dishes came out, again, really good. We finished up, the waitress was on the ball bringing to-go boxes, I 'll give her credit there, but then we sat for 10 minutes with the to-go boxes filled up, waiting, waiting, waiting for the bill. Finally I got out my wallet and sat there tapping my wallet on my other hand, likely looking a little irritated. She notices and brings our ticket, then walks away before I can hand her my credit card and we had to wait even longer for her to come back. I still gave her 10%, and as we get up and aren 't even an arms length from the table she runs over and grabs the ticket, BAD ETIQUETTE!!! Unwritten rule of waiting tables, you wait for the customer to be away, even out of the building, before grabbing the ticket. Not her... We 'll probably be back, the food is great, but hopefully she 'll be fired by then. EDIT: forgot to mention, outside of the drinks, she wasn 't even the one that brought out any of the food we ordered, not the appetizers, not the entrees, none of it. So it isn 't like she 's too busy to actually do a better job."
