"OMG, this place is an hiden gem. The best old fashioned homemade burgers in houston. It's black owned so don't waste your money somewhere else. Like whatabuger is a 3 star rating compared to Blake's. The other places are not even close. I definitely recommend you try there burgers. You will not be disappointed. Next, i will try the barbecue. I will let you guys know how the rest of the food tastes as i keep going back. ?"

"I live in Florida, but my family is from Louisiana/New Orleans, and every time I visit See N Dive, I feel right at home! The fried green tomatoes are my absolute favorite; they're perfection! I order them every time I go, but I always like to try something new as well. Yesterday, I had the stuffed sausage, and it was delicious! Whenever I'm feeling under the weather, this is the place I want to be. Great food, great staff, and a wonderful atmosphere!"

"This is my absolute favorite place in town for vegan food. Yeah, they have meat and Yeah, it's a terrible restaurant name, but they know how to do vegan food right. The crispy fried tofu wrap with peanut sauce is out of this world. I have brought both omni veg heads here for this and they all leave raving happy. Some have said the tofu wrap is even better than the fish. Yeah! The falafel is also super good. And the fries are some of my fav. They have a seemingly permanent special called the Middle Beast, which is fries and falafel and jerusalem salad with tahini sauce drizzled all over. So not healthy and so so so delicious! There is a tempeh wrap as well however sadly they haven't quite figured out how to work with tempeh so I wouldn't recommend it."

"We started with incredibly fresh oysters on the half shell, paired with an Abita Amber beer that's typically only found in New Orleans. I also tried the blackened steak quesadilla and catfish (which I was relieved to learn was not from China). The highlight of the meal, however, was the shrimp and grits. As someone who's not usually a fan of grits, I was pleasantly surprised; they were creamy and cooked to perfection. The shrimp was served in a rich étouffée sauce and topped with fresh green onions. Honestly, it was the best rendition of grits I've had in my 53 years! Everything is flown in straight from Louisiana, which really makes a difference. I can't recommend this place highly enough if you're looking for authentic Louisiana cuisine. Thank you, Shuck and Dive, for making me feel like I was back in good old Louisiana!"

"This is an excellent restaurant with fantastic food and outstanding customer service. I've been searching for the stuffed quahogs I used to enjoy in the '80s at Green Pond Bridge, thinking they were from a different place for some reason. I was thrilled to find these delicious quahogs here! I also tried the fish basket for $9.50, which was a generous portion and very tasty. But today, I had the scallop plate, and it was the best scallop dish I've ever had! The scallops had a wonderful buttery flavor and practically melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this place—kudos to them!"
