"Gone downhill. Have eaten at this restaurant a lot of times. Sadly it has gone down hill. I now would recommend against it. I ate there Sat eve 4/26/14 with 3 friends. Two of us ordered soup and our soup was cold and we had to send it back. My dinner was also cold and not as described. One of my friends ordered the tuna and it was freezer burned and cold on the inside. I left a message for the owner because I wanted to discuss this with him before writing a poor review but he never called me back. Don't bother"

"We were looking for a fish restaurant with excellent Google reviews. While the food was hot and fresh, our overall experience was lacking. Upon arrival, I noticed that the lobby wasn't very clean. The gentleman at the counter was on his phone, and the front counter could have used a good wipe-down. The fish was fried too hard and lacked seasoning. The hushpuppies tasted just like balls of corn dough, and the coleslaw was made with pickle relish and didn’t seem fresh. With just a little more effort in making the lobby more inviting, it could really enhance the experience."

"Really great food and super fast service. We got the fried scallops and the seafood combo. Everything was cooked perfectly. Very crispy outside, while seafood inside was moist and juicy. Wish I lived closer, it would be a regular place for me. Loved every bite. There was a line but it moved quickly. The staff were fun and very efficient at their jobs. It was a joy to see such a well run kitchen with people that seemed to be enjoying their jobs. It appeared to be an awesome group of young people. Wish I had gotten pictures but I will be back on my next trip through. Thanks!!"

"We came across this restaurant while driving on the highway. The chicken sandwiches were pretty good, but we strongly advise against ordering the chicken gizzards. If you enjoy gizzards and their texture, don't waste your time. My husband bought some, tried one, and refused to eat another one. He said they were mushy and bland, with no gizzard snap. Overall, we only tried the takeout service."

"Fish fry was great! Chicken tenders dinner was good too. I substituted onion rings for the fries and the onion rings were too greasy/oily like the fryer oil wasn't hot enough and a lot of the coating had fallen off. French fries with fish fry weremuch better than the onion rings should have gotten those instead."

"The best place to get some BBQ and watch sports downtown! I love coming here from the market and have some grubs a little bit different from the usuals (seafood everywhere). The cabin vibe and its friendly staff really make for an awesome cozy atmosphere. I got a chance to taste this week 's 'game day special ' wings: citrus Christmas cranberry. Delicious! And they serve you the whole wing (a refreshing change from most wing places). They have an ample selection of beers from local breweries, which changes regularly. Even offer samplers if you want a taste of some of the big names in town. I will definitely be back, maybe to try their new wings flavor!"
