"I ordered the shrimp pasta, chicken and sausage gumbo, and yams. The shrimp pasta was my favorite; the shrimp were well-seasoned and the pasta sauce had a great flavor. However, the gumbo roux was a bit too thick and greasy for my taste (just a heads up—it’s not like New Orleans gumbo), but it did have a good flavor and was packed with meat! As for the yams, they were just okay; I prefer them not to be puréed like baby food."
