"I ordered a piece of fish and two shrimp, and while the items seemed to be over-fried, they didn't taste burnt. The key to delicious fried shrimp is that they should taste like shrimp, but unfortunately, the shrimp flavor was lacking. The shrimp and fish were pleasantly crunchy, but the French fries were not crispy and were soggy. At nearly $18, the value for the meal just wasn't there. However, it should be noted that the gentleman who took my order was very attentive, and there is a sign on the door stating that masks must be worn."

"Tried today, after reading the reviews. It 's as close as you 'll get to British fish and chips.I got talking to the owner, and he has perfected his product over years. You can 't get maris Piper potatoes in the US, but the potatoes he does use are an almost perfect alternative. He cooks the chips twice to get that British taste and texture just right.He has also spent a lot of time perfecting his mushy peas and chip shop curry sauce over many iterations (although I have yet to try) If he has applied the same fastidious attitude to those as he has his chips and battered cod I know I won 't be disappointed.I know this will be my go to chippie from now on for SW FloridaParking: Easy location on 41 heading south just past the Infiniti dealership"

"We decided to try this restaurant for a Valentine's Day dinner and we are so glad we did. From the moment I called to make a reservation until the bill was paid, it was a great experience. Robin, the owner, took our reservation and was warm and friendly. When we arrived, our server Dixie greeted us with the same warmth and friendliness, and she did not give us misleading recommendations. We had a hard time choosing between the prix fixe menu and the Friday evening specials, but ultimately decided on items from the regular menu. My partner had the country fried steak with potatoes, and I had the grilled fish with fries. We also tried the shrimp appetizer sampler, which was delicious. The chef, Liz, even came out to check on our table and make sure we were satisfied. We were also impressed by our bartender, Alice, who was friendly and attentive. They even offered us Valentine's Day desserts, but we were too full. Overall, it was a 5-star experience from start to finish."
