"Went here last Sunday after a long walk at Balboa Park. We did not have to reserve and was seated as soon as we arrived. They have an outdoor seating and I remember bringing my pet dog here one time. Service was great and the food was really good! I highly recommend trying out the Corned Beef Hash and Egg because it’s one of the tastiest meals we had during our visit. The serving is huge and make sure to ask for a box to go if you cannot finish it in one sitting. They’re not lying when they called their Big Chocolate Cake big because the size of that slice was enough to fill me up until dinner. Highly recommend and will definitely come back."

"The shrimp cocktail was amazing and the margaritas were outstanding. The staff was very polite and courteous. Our party of five all enjoyed delicious meals. The dine-in dinner service was excellent, with each person spending between $10 and $20. The atmosphere was top-notch, receiving a rating of 5. "Hadn't been there in a long time, not because I didn't want to, but because circumstances of all kinds. Place was nicely remodeled and is light and airy now. Service was really good, and food came quickly. Food has a nice fresh vibe, more filling than you think. The tacos may look small, but there are 3, and they are solid and tasty. They let me have one of each kind on their taco plate, which is great if you like to mix and match. The beef is not ground, it is probably stewed which was good texture, soft not stringy. Liked the flavor of the rice and beans as well. I remembered the Papusa being good, and I ordered it off their small plate list, and it came as a single papusa with a light slaw on the side. Think of it as a hearty tapas serving size at a nice price, so if you wanted to eat a bit here and there during a game at the bar, the small plate menu section is a great place to taste your way through and have fun. If I were being picky . . . My wife thought the rice could have been cooked a little softer for her taste. I suppose the beans could have had a bit more texture. The side slaw for the Papusa was good, but lacked a distinctive flair. The menu said they had modelo Negro on tap, but only the especial was on tap, but they had it in the bottle, so I had that."

"Great food and atmosphere. Waiters and other staff were friendly and professional. The food was served quickly. The waiter heard my father and brought him a coke instead of coffee, but no big deal, people make mistakes. He brought the coffee out right away. There was a guitar playing skeleton. I suppose for Halloween decoration. It added the positive experience."

"For my last day in El Paso, Texas my buddy suggested some top of the line Mexican food. We arrived at 8 pm and noticed they closed at 8:30, bad choice. Even though the last customer should receive the same quality as the first customer, this didn’t happen here. The bowl of chips and salsa was for two people and they chips were cold and hard. While being rushed to order, I selected (Mexican Plate), should’ve gotten a freaking burger. Just truly disappointed. Watered down sour cream $5.00, Guacamole $5.00, water free. Well, another one bites the dust??????. Oh, check the burnt pork in the dried taco ?????"

Will gladly make the drive to El Norter Bakery in Oak Cliff or my usual go-to-place Panaderia El Sol in Irving where I also 100% recommend their special occasions cakes that has been ? down delicious and beautifully made in my past experiences...will do a post about that bakery in a sec showing the cakes they 've done for me just this year...the one time I decided to try a bakery so close to home and my last."

"So I still have to take the time to eat any place that didn't give me my food for a while in a bag in Houston. I make a few trips here a year after I live here for 6.5 years, and usually it's a trip. Now beings we had the time, and that we had to meet with my future brother in law, was a decent dinner. You chose us and we landed here. And I couldn't be happier. Service was great, location was pleasant (the Misses spent a lot of time in the area and their brother worked the same club for 24 years. Great atmosphere in the neighborhoods). The food was great, like the drinks. This will be definatly on my frequent list (as we withdraw) and I cannot wait to try more of the menu."

"Absolutely a fantastic place to eat, I came in today with a longtime friend I haven’t seen in a while and we placed our orders. When my order came out, the nachos I was not expecting just sort of plain nachos and she explained to me I ordered the wrong version,that I needed to order the other version and I said oh that’s fine. Can we just upgrade this one and I’ll just get one of them and she said “no no no what would you like added to this one, we can just add it for you!!” I was like wow that’s great and I told her,, at that time my friend noticed she had onions on her taco, and she thought maybe she told her no onions, but again she was like “no problem at all will bring them right over for you” and within a few minutes, the orders were fixed. The food was fantastic … My friend even felt a little bad that she might have upset the server because she didn’t see her any more, and she asked one of the other servers if that was the case and she said no, she was just on break, when she came back from break, she stopped by to say hi making my friend happy. The food was fantastic. It was so good my friend ordered the same exact order minus the onions to take home and definitely is looking forward to the next visit. That is how much she enjoyed this restaurant as that I the atmosphere is fantastic. The food is wonderful and I have to admit I was eyeballing those adult beverages a lot and I think the next time I may have to try one of them because they look really great. This is definitely a gem if you’ve never been to this place restaurant, please give them a try. They are a fantastic ,"

"Every time I've come to the Campagne House, I've had the pleasure of being seated on the patio. Enclosed by an attractive wall-fence, this space is a small oasis of peace with trees and umbrellas and bird song. The staff is friendly and attentive, but not overbearing (I'd be chill, too, if my section was out there! . I think I've only had burgers there; honestly, I go there for the patio. And a Guinness, of course! If the food was NOT good, I wouldn't keep going there. My first time there was after hiking the trails in Bethpage State Park, and I was hungry. We tried it on a whim. Now it's a favorite! Take your favorite friend and have lunch, and if you have to wait for a patio seat, order a Guinness and wait!"

"Extremely affordable but you get what you pay for. The best thing was easily their Fresh Mexican Horchata but it apos;s on the sweeter side, very cinnamon heavy, and missing some creaminess. Bean Cheese Burrito was a great size but tasteless. Carne Asada Soft Tacos was substantial, had a lot of toppings, and the meat had a tender texture, but lacked any grilled flavor. The Cheese. Quesadilla portion and tortilla were decent but it was ultimately dry and again, lacked flavor. Generally inoffensive but completely mid."

"We wanted to try their Menudo. I headed over to pick up some take out. Pretty standard atmosphere for a Mexican cafe except they were burning incense in the small dining room and It was kind strong. It was Sunday, so maybe a culture thing? The prices are fair, and the staff guys were friendly. Menudo was better than average. Would have been better with more lemon to cut it. I had asked twice for extra lemons, but they only gave us 2 small wedges. Also ordered a bacon breakfast burrito. It was very good, except they put sour cream in it? I've had lots of breakfast burritos, never seen sour cream in one. Their salsa was good, they used good tortillas and overall we were satisfied. We will probably go back, but with caution to ask for things the way we like them."

"I really must recommend the Jalapeno Avacado burger. If you like spicy, this burger is on point. Delicious FRESH jalapenos, not those weak pickled ones. Fresh avacado and a well seasoned burger. The fish and chips are good, I'd recommend ordering the fries well done.Staff needs work. They often forget about customers. They also have a problem that they call some of the burgers on their menu CHEESEBURGERS, when they don't have cheese... Yeah... That's a Hamburger, not a cheeseburger.Personally I do not like the sides here, they all taste like the frozen fries, onion rings, etc you buy from Smart Final. They just aren't worth ordering. I no longer order sides here, just the burgers, unless it's the fish n chips. I would really like it if they worked on the sides."
