"I look for restaurants that have Dover Sole Meunière in their menus, so I found Jubilee. It's a French restaurant on 1st Ave 52 Street. The Dover Sole Meunière was very delicious; I really liked it. But it's the attentiveness of the host and the server that completed the experience for me. I asked for a booth and I was given a booth in a hospitable manner. That got me to feel comfortable in the place! I also ordered the Duo of French White and Green Asparagus upon the server's recommendation. It's from the daily specials, and it was pleasing to my eyes as well as tasty. I wish the butternut squash soup didn't have chicken broth and the fish soup didn't contain alcohol! (Hopefully, they read my review and make the changes) Still, I highly recommend this restaurant for its ambience, service, and the Dover Sole Meunière!"

"I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a newborn, making it 31 years now. My mother has been a regular for 45 years! The black and red beans are absolutely incredible! The special steak with onions is the best I've ever had. And the chicken with yellow rice is incredibly moist and fresh—definitely a must-try!"

"Staff is very rude and racist. I wanted to take a friend to show him a different type of cuisine but after waiting 12mn for our turn, this server (she is short then the others) skipped us to serve someone who came way after us. They were not busy and we were the only customers until the last one stepped in. I flagged for her that we are waiting for our turn but she dismissed us and started serving the guy who came after us. Very disgusting and it was a racist behavior and very sexist. I wonder why your restaurant is try hard to bring in customers but changing the name and mentioning new management. If you don't welcome other races that Hispanics, out a label at the front, you would save us 12mn under this messy weather."

One time, the cook literally came out of the kitchen to say hi send me off with the burrito she’d just made me. I love this place! Support them!! "Hello! This sushi restaurant has been in the same location for at least 15 years, and I believe it's been around even longer. I started dining here a while ago, around two years back. My usual order includes miso soup, a small house salad, lobster, spicy crispy tuna rolls, rainbow rolls, and California rolls, among other dishes. The food is consistently good—classic and authentic—but the restaurant could use some updates. It has a nice vibe reminiscent of the late 90s, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it would benefit from a more modern touch. Recently, they improved their outdoor seating area by adding a few tables, plants, and new flooring. They've certainly withstood the test of time. Congratulations!"

"The food was quite tasty, but I found the prices to be a bit steep—nearly $20 for a small soup, a side of maduros, and a single delicious beef empanada. They do offer a 10% discount for online orders through their website, but unfortunately, that site is currently down. They really need to fix this issue or reconsider offering the discount altogether. The clientele is quite diverse, and while they have some interesting promotions, they sometimes fall short, leading to awkward moments for their staff with unhappy customers. I almost reconsidered paying after having difficulty getting my issue sorted out. This is the only Spanish restaurant I know of that charges extra for rice and beans as sides with the pernil. Furthermore, the short Spanish server didn’t provide the crispy skin, which is the best part of the pernil. Why are they so stingy with their portion sizes?"

"The Soul Spot is truly a soulful spot. The curry chicken and black eyed peas were incredibly flavorful and juicy. The fried catfish was some of the best I've ever had. The baked macaroni and cheese was delicious as well, and I loved the half and half. This was my first visit to New York and I definitely want to come back and dine here again. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant, 10/10."

"I've been a regular at Las Potrancas for years, but after tonight, I won't be returning. We ordered fajitas, and the waiter brought us a cold plate of steak fajitas that had clearly been sitting out for a while. When we tasted it, the meat was unacceptable. We sent it back, but instead of apologizing and making it right, the manager, Alex, tried to shame us into eating it. His behavior was completely unprofessional. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants around, so I won't be coming back here again."

"I started my meal with a Cuba Libre that was impressively strong, while my partner opted for a bottle of Presidente beer. For dinner, I chose the grilled entraña, which is referred to as churrasco here, paired with tostones. I requested it to be cooked medium, although I generally prefer it rarer. However, it arrived well done, a common occurrence, but I wasn't disappointed. The onions were seasoned with something other than lime juice, and the skirt steak had a citrusy flavor that I suspect came from a vinegar-based marinade. This might explain the distinct flavor profile that has puzzled many previous reviewers of El Conde. My partner ordered the oxtail with red beans and white rice as her side dish. Even though she had half of her meal wrapped up to take home, she had no complaints about her dish. We skipped dessert and drinks after dinner, as we were both quite full from our meals."

"I went to the new location upon an early opening when they weren't cleared for their license yet so can't comment on the alcohol but they seemed to have a great selection. They offered us complimentary glasses of wine which I thought was wonderful andtasted quite good. I got the rosemary thyme chicken and cauliflower side and I will say the cauliflower was much more satisfyingthan the chicken. Perfectly charred and the citrus notes worked well in the cauliflower. However the menu stated the chickencame with mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and a gravy which I thought sounded amazing and what led me to pick that. However,the server never said anything about the dish being completely different upon ordering it nor when I received it. I wouldn'thave cared much or thought it was a big deal, likely would've chosen something else, but the lack of transparency and notcommunicating was a bit strange. I decided to try it anyways, the yucca fries were good but I could barely eat the chicken. Itwas well seasoned but pink on the inside and couldn't stomach eating it. It didn't look like it wasn't cooked all the way- notreally sure what it was, but wholly unappetizing. My two friends ordered the grouper and raved about it, it lookedincredible! Overall, 3/5 stars. Disappointed with my food and the lack of communication about it but the overall service wasgood and a nice welcoming atmosphere. I don't know that I'll try it again but glad I got to."

"I have been going to El Cerritos since I was a child. Recently, the restaurant has been compromising its iconic service and food quality. During my most recent visit, I ordered two entrees and two drinks, which came to a total of $41. I found the prices to be a bit high. However, what was even more disappointing was when I discovered that my steak burrito contained both steak and chicken, which was not what I had ordered. Additionally, we had to wait 25 minutes after paying for our meal (we had called ahead at 6:23, arrived and paid at 6:36, but did not receive our food until 7:00). Although the restaurant was very busy that day, their service and food quality did not meet the usual high standards that I have come to expect from them."

"This place, oh my gosh, a hidden jewel! First of all, I love the ambience. There are huge paintings of Charros, (a special Mexican cowboy culture, look it up it's beautiful), on the raw brick walls, and not only main floor seating but upstairs and downstairs as well!!!! We were seated within minutes after being greeted by the lovely owner. Now the food. Never have I had such a wonderful molé and pasole! Yes, even though serving were ample, I ordered both because I couldn't decide and I am so happy I did!!! Leftovers for at least 3 meals of the best tasting, freshly made dishes. The molé had a deep earthy chocolate flavor that was the perfect flavor and texture. The pasolé had a great kick but was a good slow burn not so spicy it made your eyes water! Last but not least. THE MARGARITAS!! Perfection. They make them from scratch. I am a bartender and I absolutely hate margarita mix. They knock out these perfect margs from the simplest ingredients, and they are perfect. Prices are fantastic too-on everything. I guess I also need to add a few words about service!Service was non-obtrusive yet there when we needed it and extremely prompt delivery of everything. Go here. Don't walk, run! Get a pitcher of homemade margaritas, some drool worthy food, and have a wonderfully delicious time!"

"We enjoy having breakfast at this café every time we're in Florida. They offer a wide variety of food options suitable for all ages, and everything is fresh and of high quality. The customer service is very friendly and attentive. We once tried a casual dinner, and I was impressed with the quality of the fish soup—it reminded me of the one I make at home, although I wish they would use a little less salt. My partner felt the same way about his chicken soup. The lamb chop and salad were also fantastic! I wish they would expand north; we would definitely dine there frequently."
