"I typically avoid chain restaurants unless there's no better option available. However, Baja Fresh is not your typical chain. They serve generous portions of extremely fresh ingredients in every dish. I'm really enjoying their carnitas bowl with black beans and mango salsa—it’s so delicious that I can’t help but salivate just thinking about it! Each meal is enough for two, often leading to late-night cravings afterward. It's so good that you end up eating until you're too full, and then you find yourself going back for more."

"I’m not super adventurous in non-vegan places so I ordered the Super Steamed Veggie Burrito $11) which had squash, zucchinis, carrots, cabbage, Mexican rice, beans, and guacamole wrapped up in an organic flour tortilla). In a pinch it’ll do, as the burrito was good and satisfying. However I always still feel weird about non-plant-based places. For my fellow strict vegans you can totally watch them making the burritos and ensure they omit all and any dairy sour cream and cheese)."

"The food here has a taco truck vibe, but with a bit more finesse. I've always enjoyed my meals, but on my recent visit, I tried one of their chicken burritos and found it lacked something. While the rice and vegetables were flavorful, the chicken was rather bland and had an unpleasant, almost rubbery texture. On the other hand, their steak tacos are fantastic. I appreciate the concept of a salsa bar, though the selection could be more exciting. We plan to return."

"Initially, we intended to order from the menu, but after seeing the buffet options with Renato's guidance, we decided to go for that instead. He took the time to walk us through the buffet and showed us where everything was located. His attentiveness made our visit even more enjoyable. As a biracial couple, we truly appreciated how welcoming everyone was. The food was absolutely incredible! I’m not sure what some of the other reviews are referring to, but everything I tried was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and authentically prepared. The buffet featured a wide array of dishes including birria, ceviche, enchiladas, an omelet station, lengua in salsa verde, rice and beans, shrimp, waffles, fries, and even a salsa bar, not to mention refreshing aguas frescas. One of my favorites was the unlimited macarons; they were a delightful treat and a great value compared to what you’d typically pay for a few small ones in Vegas. The overall quality of the food was exceptional, and I can't wait to return. The lively ambiance, complete with mariachi music playing throughout our visit, added to the cool vibe of the place. I’m so glad we decided to try this restaurant, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the LA area!"

"Service: I went through the drive through in May 2022 at night. Service was surprisingly quick despite there being a line of cars, and the service was just fine. Food: I ordered a conga burrito with cheese. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the burrito was pretty darn good. The carne asada has good flavor, and the included salsas pair well with the food. The menu is overwhelming with options. I would recommend sticking to the burritos here or another staple you enjoy. Overall: Everyone needs a place that's open late with some guilty pleasure food. This is totally that type of place. Worth a try and a nice spot to have in Hillcrest."

"Being a pescatarian has led me to search for new restaurants to try, and I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this gem at the Fayetteville Pavilion. The food here is incredible - they really put care and attention into every dish. I ordered the rice bowl with grilled shrimp, and the server suggested adding some extras. I'm so glad I did! We barely made it out of the parking lot before turning back to order more food. I highly recommend trying their dishes, even if you opt for something as simple as the mild Hawaiian rice bowl - make sure to add the grilled shrimp and garnishes. You won't regret it. Trust me on this one."

"I received my order from Las Miches Marisqueras 15 minutes later than the estimated delivery time. The nachos on the menu didn’t resemble traditional nachos; instead, they looked like a mix of meat, cheese, and vegetables. My shrimp taco fell apart after just one bite. While I’m not questioning the quality of the food—since I’ve ordered from Las Miches before without any issues—I am disappointed with the delivery delay and the condition of the food when it arrived. DoorDash should better oversee their drivers to ensure timely delivery to customers."

"3 different orders, all incorrect but kept them. Last one ordered was chicken and shrimp fajitas. Got beef and shrimp instead. Shrimp qty very low (5 total) with tails still on. Rest of meal had a few crusty shrimp tails only in the beef as fragments. Beef was very old and difficult to chew. Other meals in the past included us eating there. My wife’s drink handed to us had a stain on the top (someone else’s finished drink just reloaded for us — not washed). First time was a fajita meal with very tiny chip fragments in the recooked bean spread. We are never eating there again. Those chip fragments meant they’re using left over meals and dumping on our plate. Noticed others are ok, but ours was not. I’d be careful if I were you. It’s disgusting Kid-friendliness: One time we ate there it was very very loud. I don’t see children feeling ok"

"I have a food allergy, so I was thrilled to find options that catered to my needs. I never expected the kind lady—who I believe may have been the owner—to take the time to listen to my concerns and ensure I would be safe and comfortable while dining there. She even stopped by my table to reassure me that the chips were safe for me to eat, and later checked in after my meal to make sure everything was okay. They also took the time to wipe down surfaces. I don't dine out often because of my allergy, as many people don't understand the importance of changing gloves or sanitizing surfaces. However, I was truly impressed by the exceptional customer service and care I received. And the food? It was AMAZING! Packed with flavor and a generous portion. I will definitely be returning, and often!"

"This place serves the most delicious, crispy quesabirrias I've ever had. Without a doubt, no other quesabirrias can compare. The meat is bursting with flavor and incredibly juicy. "Cool little off the wall spot with a little Mexican grocery inside. Visited family and this was the 2nd taco spot I went to. Ordered 2 asada, 2 baebacoa and 1 carnita. I placed the order to go and the salsa provided was tasty not as spicy as other taco places I've been to. If you place the order for here, they have different selection of salsa to pick from. When you arrive, you place your order at the front of the store, then the person will hand you a paper recept. You then goto the back and hand it to the cook. Good lil information for any first timer."
