"I really admire it when a teacher opens her own restaurant and showcases her impressive cooking skills. This relatively new spot in a Cooperstown hamlet caught my attention on a quiet day. Bistro 6208 has a nostalgic vibe with its old-fashioned decor and classic Americana cuisine. I ordered a simple BLT with chips and a soda, and at just $5.99, it was a fantastic sandwich at an unbeatable price. It's a great place for families and sports teams, with ample parking and plenty of room to accommodate everyone. If you're looking for a private venue for an event, this place is pleasantly quiet. You can find the menu online, featuring items like burgers. I believe the burger and fries combo is a worthy $10, and it’s quite generous too. I really hope this restaurant flourishes; it’s wonderful to have a quality dining option just three miles outside of town. I'll share some pictures too. There are plenty of dining options for a small town, but as a local, I always support our small business owners competing with larger chains and more established restaurants."
