"I love The Lobby Bar, usually. Coffee in the morning or a wine before or after a film, its the perfect place, and front of house staff are all fantastic. However deciding to have a dinner there was a big mistake. The steak I ordered was a very thin piece of cool cardboard. Trying to get someone's attention to have the steak taken back to kitchen proved a task in itself, and then there was an unacceptable wait for the replacement meal to be served. At this point my dinner companion had finished their meal and our wine was drunk. Overall, it was not acceptable. Kitchen staff clearly was more interested in cleaning up and getting off work. A pity, as this is my happy place for a coffee or a drink. It is now my nightmare place for a meal."
