"Humphry Slocombe is a cool name. The name actually comes from a 1970 's British sitcom called "Are You Being Served? "I last went here years ago and had not returned since because last time was here they didn 't have any vegan ice cream and only had one sorbet that was vegan that was fine yet not great.Fast forward years later to the moment of now. I recently stoped by again and they had two vegan ice cream flavors including vegan cookies and cream and vegan strawberry daiquiri. I am a big fan of cookies and cream and am a teetotaler so the vegan strawberry daiquiri unfortunately has alcohol. My beloved and I stopped by recently. We each got a vegan cookies and cream ice cream cone. It really hit the spot. The base was coconut milk and classic Oreo cookies which are accidentally vegan were in there rounding it out to make it a delicious ice cream. The sugar cone is vegan and unfortunately the waffle cones are not vegan so we went with the former.I suggest Humphry Slocombe keep the vegan cookies and cream on rotation adding another two or three vegan flavors for good merit. The whole thing of a vegan going to a vegan or vegetarian restaurant having too much choice so making it hard to decide what to order. Well at Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream it is opposite for vegans as you only have two choices of two different vegan ice creams and for vegan teetotalers who got the straight edge you have one flavor. The vegan ice cream we had is great will set you back $5 for a generous cone or cup. Great location right near 24th St Mission BART station."

"So the blonde girl that works there is the rudest server I have encountered in a decade. Got there on a Saturday night for dinner, was given a glass of brown water to start with, I think it was a little bit of leftover soda from the bev gun but STILL, who serves brown water to one guest and regular looking water to my friend? Anyway.we ordered as soon as the server person came over. She was rude and rushed. We ordered chips and salsa for a starter, and 2 entrees. Mine was the steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium. Food came out, I dig into my steak after 2 bites it tasted like it had that weird freezer burnt taste. So I set it aside and ate my side Caesar salad, when the person finally came back I explained how it tasted and she completely gave me a dirty look, said that she just got those in so that couldn’t be true, basically called me a liar to the point that I apologized for saying something!! Who is this person?!!! Anyway, she dropped the check, only took $3.00 off my $30 steak that I took 2 bites of and ate none of the cold hard potatoes on the side and then when I tried to pay inside after sitting there for 10 min ready to leave she hollered from across the bar go back outside I will be there in a minute. She was so fricken rude. Blonde person with short hair and the Michigan t shirt last night.I hope being a jerk to a first time customer really made your day. We will never go back and never recommend."

"Definitely worth a stop for some yummy breakfast brunch food in Arlington! A nice place to sit outside and people watch, as well. I know that they have a varied menu with wine and various meals covered, but my experience was for a weekend morning service, more catered to breakfast earlier brunches. Overall, very solid! Pros: Food quality: Really delicious everything that my friends and I ordered tasted better than expected! My friends had some deliciously prepared and seasoned eggs, and I had a wonderful, warm, buttery cookie and an amazing coffee beverage. Price: Reasonable with consideration to the location and the quality of the food. I think you definitely get your money's worth here I have paid much more for brunch food in this neighborhood, and been let down can't say this was the case here the food was delicious and well worth the price! Portion size: Really generous, I think that the drinks especially were really large, and the plates were decently sized as well. I saw a couple of folks near me eating deserts, which were also pretty big. Scenery: A really cute spot to people watch in Arlington. Lots of out door seating, as well as little igloo like structures to sit inside with friends at. Overall a really nice set up, very clean, and accompanied by upbeat music that puts you in a great moof. Other: I did not experience the friendliest service here. I felt that the middle aged man who took my order had an annoyed condescending tone feedback when I placed my simple order. Having worked myself in the restaurant industry and in customer service, I know it is exhausting, and you can have off moments but I definitely felt he could have been a bit friendlier to me. Did not have much interaction with anyone else so can really only speak to the service from this one experience."

"4.5 s. First off, service is outstanding! We had Ryan he was so helpful, very efficient, extremely pleasant very accommodating. The premise of this restaurant is SLIDERS! Definite bar food but with an interesting twist. For example, I had Venison chili cheese fries, Cajun fries a most delicious Poutine with cheese curds added. (Ask them to add cheese curds to the Poutine. Oh YUM! I had a Po’ boy Slider w/lobster, a Pork belly Korean Char Sui slider, a Coney Dog slider w/ Venison chile a Prime Rob slider. (Skip the Prime Rib slider. Wasabi horseradish sauce is great but the meat is a bit tough over cooked. Maybe not slider material. They have traditional slider very unique sliders. Everything was fabulous. Variety abounds! They also have some vegetarian options that can also be moderated to accommodate vegan diners. Their sweet potato salad is vegan delicious if you like kale, they also had a very good, vegan-friendly kale salad per my companions. The dessert was a fake “fried” ice cream. Difficult to explain but it was very good. One of my dinner companions had a s’mores slider with bacon added was extremely pleased. The drinks are fantastic. Definitely try the Woodford Reserve Mint Julep. The prices are almost as good as the service. The beer selection is local Craft. Some of the beer is on draft some in bottles. They have distilled spirits too which are all very reasonably priced. It’s a very reasonably priced, fun place with great food excellent service (Ask for Alex or Ryan! You will not be disappointed! More great food and the service was even better! Highly recommend! Get dessert you won’t be disappointed"
