"Many of the negative reviews here are from over five years ago, which doesn’t seem fair. Since moving to their new location and renovating, this place is still great! The sushi is fantastic for the price—regular rolls are just $3.25 and nigiri is only $1.25! You won't find a better deal for decent sushi in the city.
I also find it amusing that some "locals" who have only visited once or twice don't realize this is primarily a takeout and delivery spot, not a traditional dine-in restaurant. Yes, there are tables, but the focus is on the food, not the outdated interior—which is no longer an issue anyway.
So if you expect a dining experience akin to Nobu or an omakase, keep in mind that you get what you pay for. The staff isn’t rude; they’re just focused on preparing your food and don’t necessarily need to engage in conversation. The criticisms seem to come from overly sensitive individuals. "
