"Needed to find a place near the Jack Daniels Distillery on our way home to Canada and this was the closest town that had a few options. The two reviews that they did have looked promising so we took the risk and headed there. Completely surprised! At first we went in the market as we didn’t realize the entrance for the actual restaurant was around the side but the lady inside was nice enough to walk us through the back to show us. We walked in to find linen table clothes and napkins, a beautifully decorated dining room and a friendly host. The menu was very clearly labelled vegan and vegetarian so we didn’t have to ask what was safe which Is always nice! I did however, have to ask about most of the menu anyway, as my experience with Middle Eastern food is quite limited. My husband and I shared a falafel platter (which the host recommended) a spinach pie and za’atar manouche (which was like a grainy middle eastern garlic thin crust pizza/flatbread If that makes any sense). They were both fantastic! The platter came with hummus, pita bread, and a tomato salsa type thing which I presume was the Tabouleh from the description on the menu. The hummus really was the creamiest! The pita bread was so fresh! We loved it so much we ordered another platter for the road and two sides of falafel as well! Our kids both had a cheese manouche which was like a thin crust pizza. Looked great. They seemed pretty happy with it, but couldn’t eat it all. Normally by the end of the meal I start to stress about the bill. Dinner for 4 and a meal to go with sides I would expect it would be upwards of 80 or 90 US easily. Nope! $30!!!! This place looked totally fancy! Beautiful art work and photos, the ceiling done up with gorgeous gold treatments, lovely service, fantastic food and it was less then I use to spend at McDonald’s for my whole family back before we went vegan! Amaz balls!"

"Wow! The food was amazing. I had an Armenian dish (Mantee small meat filled dumplings in a yogurt/tomato sauce) that was incredible. The rice served with it was out of this world. Our lovely server, Oksenia, told us that the recipe was over 100 years old and from the owner's great great grandfather. It was absolutely delicious. My partner had Lamb Mishwi which was also fantastic. I would definitely return and highly recommend Marouch if you're looking for authentic, exceptional Lebanese/Armenian food in the East Hollywood (Little Armenia) area of Los Angeles."

"I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and I'm so glad I did. The food was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. The lamb shawarma plate had real sliced lamb, and I loved that I could add baba ghanouj and grape leaves, both of which were top notch. The baba ghanouj was one of the best I've ever had. I also enjoyed the pickled vegetables and olives, and appreciated the option to choose salad instead of rice as a base. The pita bread was fresh and not dried out, unlike some places that serve dried pita wedges. The pistachio baklava was also delicious, moist, and flaky. I can't stop thinking about it now!"

"this is one of the best places we have tried in the region for Mediterranean food. I got the chicken-shawarma cellar and my man got the chicken kabob cellar and both were delicious. the meat was grilled to perfection and was tender and tasty and the pita and hummus were absolutely out of this world. in the did I could not stop eating the Pita hummus and ended up bringing most of my actual food home. also the portion sizes were generous for the price and the service was friendly and timely. my only regret is that I didn't make pictures. we will try to supplement a few next times when we visit - what we will certainly be."

"Mixed shawarma sandwich 9.58/10- mix of lamb and tri tip! This was incredibly delicious, the meat had so much flavor and was perfectly complemented by the sauce and onions. The bread was also really fresh and they made it on the spot!! I docked a little on my rating due to not enjoying the eggplant dip given with the sandwich. In addition, I received my order after 35 minutes and i was in a time crunch. However, everything they make is fresh I just simply did not expect that.. this place was recommended to me and I truly am happy it was because I very much enjoyed the food! Similar to zeytoon but like casual and not as pricey"
