"We’ll be back! Saturday night, April 29, two of us arrived with no reservation around 8 pm for hibachi grill/teppanyaki. In less than 15 minutes, we were seated.?Best part: Food was delicious! Portions are HUGE!Pros: Quick greeting, friendly staff, engaging table chef, and again: the delicious food!Cons: While waiting, we tried to get drinks at the fairly empty bar, but the bartender didn’t even acknowledge us. Yes, he had orders, but he could have at least said Hello! His loss, as we would have closed the drink tab with him and tipped well.At the table, our server forgot one of our drinks, then she was so busy or had tunnel vision) that it took 15 minutes to catch her attention to the missed drink.Minor con: It’s a smidge $3-$5 per meal) more costly than other similar restaurants, but they definitely make up for it with the large portions!Bottom line: We’ll be back for the delicious food. Bring cash to tip your chef directly. They earn it!"

"Midici is at MDR is not consistent with the one in Century City in terms of how customer orders food. I went on the 2nd day. Outside patio covering is a clear cover. The cover was so dirty. It was hazy looking from the patio to the street. Service was poor, believe not enough time spent training the new team. No serving sets were brought out until after we ask for them. Pizza got cold by them time I received serving sets. Most importantly, customers are looking for consistency from one Midici to another. I was exacted but didn't like the concept of being seated and ordering. I like the fact that you order from the count and food is then brought to the table and fresh condiments on the side (self service). MDR location does not have all of the condiments that Century City have."

"I recently had a disappointing experience at Two Cousins MNO More. There was a new employee who seemed to enjoy getting orders wrong and then arguing with customers. Instead of apologizing and fixing the mistake, he was rude and unhelpful. It appears that there may be new ownership at the restaurant, as the people I usually dealt with were always respectful. If your order is incorrect, be prepared to argue with this unprofessional employee."

"We have had very mixed experiences with Monument Beach Pizza but because its local we keep giving them chances. Tonight was unfortunately the last straw. We were delivered a burnt pizza, a visiably burnt pizza, crust and cheese. When calling to request a new pizza or a refund, whichever was easier for them, we were told the pizza wasn 't burnt when it left . I have worked in customer service my whole life and you 're generally told not to blame the customer. Horrible customer service."

"Evo used to have the best pizza. And then it didn't. Luke's filled the vacuum very well and without the long drive from downtown. Well, Luke's has closed and, apparently, his hands are tied at B&B. "Everyone told me you can't find good pizza in Charleston. They were wrong. Every Friday is piaa nite. It has been a tradition for over 35 years. We are from New Jersey, pizza spoiled. My daughter moved to the Charleston area. She found Evo and said we must try. It was excellent. We had a duck confit pizza and a pesto garlic pie. Both delicious, great flavors, very good crust, very happy."

"Vannucchi Brothers Pizza… The lady at the front counter is an absolute delight, bringing a level of charm and fun that sets a positive tone for what you'd expect to be an enjoyable meal. However, the experience takes a turn once you get to the actual food. We didn’t go for socializing.Taking the pizza back to the hotel, we were quickly disappointment as the center of the pizza was found to be completely raw. Such a discovery is disheartening, especially after a long day out, when all you're looking forward to is a comforting meal. The inconvenience of having to consider returning to the restaurant to address this issue only adds to the frustration.Despite having to discard about 50% of the pizza due to the uncooked dough, there's a silver lining in the quality of the flavors in the portions that were properly cooked. The taste of the cooked areas suggest that, under better circumstances, the pizza could have been a delightful experience. This discrepancy between the potential of what could have been an excellent meal and the reality of the situation is particularly disappointing.In summary, while Vannucchi Brothers Pizza offers a warm and inviting start to the dining experience, the execution in the kitchen, at least during this visit, fell short of expectations.
