"The restaurant was not crowded at all, and that surprised me. But the food and the service were good. The menu is limited. I wanted to substitute fresh fruit instead of a green salad with my omelet and they were not able to accommodate that request. You do have to appreciate a small kitchen that chooses to so what they do well instead of offering a bunch of substitutions. Bar Frances is a really neat place on Freret!"
