"We decided to ignore the negative reviews and gave this restaurant a try last Saturday, but we won't be returning. We should have listened, but we chose it last minute since it was the only place that wasn't crowded. The food was mediocre at best; pizza is just pizza. The real issue, however, was the staff. The bartender seemed completely clueless—despite the place not being busy, it took us 20 minutes to get our drinks. He spent most of the time either chatting or looking at his phone. Our server was the rudest we've ever encountered, carrying a noticeable chip on her shoulder. Other staff members were too busy joking around and complaining about their tables within earshot of customers. When it came time to order desserts, we had to ask three times. Overall, the level of unprofessionalism here is simply not worth the money or your time. The food doesn't come close to making up for the poor service and attitude from the staff and owner."

"The lasagna was old, days old..It was dry and burned at the bottom. The ground beef itself was old and dried out not to mention the fact that it was lacking in sauce and flavor. The driest lasagna in the world smh.. The so called Manager had no resolveafter I just spent $40.. It’s wasn’t his problem.. So u can give me old food I can’t eat and basically steal my money andit’s just on me.. Don’t Spend Your Money Here It’s Not Worth It. The Food Is Trash. Trust"

"Saturday night and it was busy. Ordered chicken and shrimp prima vera. My order arrived steaming out like it was fresh out of the microwave and it looked like it too. Veggies were gray! Waiter took it back and although the replacement looked better, it was very lemony which detracted from the taste. Very disappointed. My tablemate ordered pepperoni pizza, delivered burnt! Second pizza was meatball, wrong order. Third pizza was correct and more appealing. Credit to Mezza Luna for comping the pizza order, it was the right thing to do. My other companion ordered a salmon special that looked fresh and delicious and they were very happy with their choice. We arrived at 5:00 PM slightly ahead of the crowd but clearly the kitchen was already bogging down. It will be awhile before I think about returning."

"The inside the building is the same as Giovanni's but I think the food is even better. I got a couple slices and some garlic bread. The slices are gigantic and delicious (New York style), and the garlic bread had real garlic. I'll definitely be stopping in again."

"If you have food allergies/intolerances this place is wonderful!!! It's been hard enough trying to figure out gluten-free/IBS life, but Bella Italia makes it so much easier to enjoy an amazing, worry free Italian meal.The GF breadsticks, are not bread at all, though. It's a GF Cheese Stick. They were fantastic and so crispy, but not bread. The GF Chicken Piccata was so perfect, and the penne pasta was just as good as traditional pasta. It was a pleasure going for the first time and can't wait to go back when we visit FL again in the fall. Scott on Piano on Wednesdays is so much fun and takes requests. He's amazing at playing your favorite songs on the fly.Definitely check this place out!"

"My husband and I dined here tonight, and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals we've ever enjoyed! We began with the Mussels antipasti, served in a wonderfully tangy white wine sauce. For his main course, my husband chose the catch of the day, which was Nordic Halibut accompanied by Brussels sprouts and an exceptional truffle reduction sauce. I opted for the smaller portion of Pollo (Chicken) Principessa, featuring the juiciest, most tender chicken I've ever tasted, along with two large shrimp, prosciutto, asparagus, and a zesty lemony white wine sauce. As a side, I had the mushroom risotto, which was outstanding. We capped off our meal with the cannoli for dessert, and it was delicious! I can’t praise this experience enough. Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and everything was served in a timely manner. We will definitely be returning!"

"Pictures of the interior are very deceiving. Place is super tiny. We had the calamari for appetizer and they also provided garlic bread as we waited for it. Both were delicious. My friend had the Cannelloni. She said it was pretty salty but tasted good. I had the Chicken Milanese probably my new favorite Italian dish. Normally this dish only comes with arugula in the salad they actually made it a house salad so you’ll have different types of leafy greens in it along with some arugula (but not much). I wasn’t a fan. It definitely took away from it. We had the Sangiovese bottle of wine. The original we ordered was unavailable but the waiter recommended a different one that was only $28. That was a great value. We didn’t have dessert, with Ferrara’s just up the block and with my friend having recently moved to NYC from California, I just had to take her. Would I go again? Probably not. With so many other Italian restaurants in the area I would probably branch out. It’s good, but nothing really to write home about. Decor definitely needs sprucing up. I get keeping the 40 year old vibes but I didn’t even get that when I walked in. Tables are also very close together so unless you’re really quiet the table next to you can hear everything you say and vice versa."

"Did not meet the expectations I had. Right from walking in something seemed off. Made reservations on their website so they knew my demographics. Had to wait 10 minutes to be seated in a 1/4 filled dining area. Called for a party of 5 by a tired disheveled person that turned out to be our waiter as well. If this was a slightly more polished profession establishment he could have taken a second to find my name to great me instead of party of 5 . Interior is dimly lit, not sure if it was to create an ambiance or hide something. Upon being seating he basically told us that we should take out time that things were going slow tonight. He brought back water and said bread was in the oven. With bread he asked about other drinks. Claimed he had passion tea but was not fresh brewed like the unsweetened tea. So you would actually have a powder mix! Finally taking the order we were informed they were not making, muscles, lobster ravioli, ciopono and osso bucco. I told him the train I came here was for the osso bucco. He looked at me and shrugged. Seriously, blank look and shrugged. Finally after a stare down here admitted that tomorrow they will be closed for 2 weeks to go on vacation. They did not buy food for the week because they did not want to throw it out like they did last year uh pandemic last year). Now on the email confirmation they could have informed me of this or even last night when I added the 5th person and spoke to a person on the phone. We 're started with the no flavor calamari and no flavor red sauce, also tried the eggplant Sicilian. The eggplant wasn 't bad but lacked something, I would have preferred mild fresh garlic. I ordered the chicken francese with a side of penne with marinara. The chicken francese wasn 't bad but again missing some flavor, lemon and parsley, salt and pepper. The marinara on the penne was substituted for the no flavor red sauce. When presented with dessert I had no desire for further disappointment and passed. I can 't in good conscience recommend coming here. With the lack luster service and enthusiasm after just opening for dinner I 'm not sure that not going on vacation and having a full stocked kitchen would be any better."

"My order was ready on time, which was nice. I ordered a grandma pizza and a large BBQ chicken pizza. Let's start with the grandma pizza: the crust was burnt to a charcoal-like crisp, the tomato sauce lacked flavor, and the garlic was overwhelming. I couldn't finish even a single slice, and it was definitely not worth the $23. The BBQ chicken pizza had a better crust, which allowed me to appreciate it more. However, it was neither the best nor the worst I've had, and the chicken pieces were chewy and didn't taste like chicken at all. The BBQ sauce was overly sweet for a pizza, and once again, it was not worth the $25. This was my first experience at Illiano's, and I won't be returning. My $52 dinner (including tax) left me opting for biscuits and tea instead."
