"This burger joint is better than McDonalds and Burger King, but what brings me in most often is their breakfast sandwiches. Much more hearty than a McMuffin or a Croisanwich. <br/ The best one that they have is the Sourdough Steak and Egg. It comes with one slice of American and one slice of Swiss cheese. So much better than any comparable, widely available breakfast sandwich.<br/ The Ultimate Bagel is good, too. The bagel is not a chore to chew, but does have a nice chew, and it comes with a cubed ham and egg scramble, bacon, and a slice of cheese. Rounding out the menu is a sourdough ham and cheese omelette sandwich, and bacon or sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches on the bagel or the sourdough. All of them are well done, and the sausage patties are actually large, like 3' across and 3/8' thick. Then there are the pita sandwiches and breakfast bowls. The latter are tots, eggs, country gravy, and your choice of sausage, bacon bits, or salsa. <br/ I gave Spangles a 3.5 overall, but I would give them a 4.5 if specifically considering only the breakfast menu.<br/ For lunch, the Sourdough Philly is decent, as is the bacon swiss burger. And their french fries are some of the best in town.<br/ As for the ice cream they have, among other offerings, what they call Tornado shakes, which have candy bar crumbles or other toppings blended with soft-serve, and whipped cream on top. If you talk nice to the right person, you can get one that has both Butterfinger and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup crumbles in it for no extra charge. So yummy. And they even have super fat straws to suck up those candy chunks."
