"My husband and I visited El Centro to see family from Phoenix and stayed at the Marriott, where they recommended Carino's. We sat at the bar and were not only impressed by the delicious food but also by the exceptional service provided by the three ladies working the bar on Saturday night, October 1, between 7:30 and 8 PM. They crafted the best micheladas and gin and tonics we've ever had. The staff was very attentive to us and all the other customers, making us feel like we were their only guests. They would be a great asset to the industry by teaching a class on superior customer service. Thank you, Maria Elena, and the other two ladies (I apologize for not catching your names). We look forward to seeing you again soon—hopefully many times in the future! Thank you for such a memorable experience!"

"The $19 ribs were more half a rack. The portion sizes for your own pasta bowl and the Johnny's combo were HUGE. The frits are really hot. The waitress was attentive to drinking refills. The lemon cream cake Dessert was decadent and delicious. Unfortunately, the Tiramisu took a long time to come and was so frozen that it wounded my hand to cut into it. I took it home and let it dry for 90 minutes before it was edible and it was good, but nothing spectacular. With drinks and food, two desserts and taxes, there was just under $100 for four adults. Very reasonable for a nice dinner and a good experience!"

"First time trying Johnny Carinos. It was pretty good. The 5 meat pasta is definitely recommended! It is a bit spicy but worth it if you like a spicy kick to your food. We had left overs with that dish. The next plate we ordered is the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. Wasn’t the best and I would give that plate a 7/10. Didn’t have much flavor and I wouldn’t order it again. They have margarita 2-10$ but wasn’t that good . Our server did not make the drinks right because you can barley taste the alcohol and the ice melted quick, it was like a lemonade juice after. But I will come back again to try out there pizzas Also !! TRY the TIRAMISU! It is absolutely delicious if you are a fan of it. Pricey but good 9.69$ Over all we spent $80 for our dinner tonight."

"We went to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday the table was not set up when we arrived. The restaurant was empty so no excuse on why it was not set. We ordered a few appetizers and they all came out at different times so we all wear eating at different times. And when we finished the appetizers I had to personally clean up the dishes because no one came back to take them away. However she did come back and take more drink orders and when she brought them she left all the empty glasses on the table so again I cleared them up. Then we got the food at different times some people were already done eating when the last order finally came out to us. Overall it was the worst meal we had from the time we walked in to the time we left very unhappy with the restaurant"

"Used to be the tastiest bagels in the area. Guess no more. Last time was here about 10 years ago. Before that was a regular there. Stopped by this morning for a poppy seed one. This was the blandest bagel I've ever had. Don't know what it was made of. Not sure it was wheat. The crust is so hard to chew on. Normally we say feels like rubber, but it felt like plastic, rather. Coffee was just pure water of brownish color. Too bad."

"I’ve been wanting to try this spot and I finally did. I was very disappointed , shocked and regretful for coming here. Sadly I gave this spot a try on my birthday and had the worst experience at a restaurant ever in my life coming here! The food was fine but the type of “customer service” I got was horrible. At first I had one waitress that was sweet and I feel like she was trying her best to be attentive but then ASHLEY was I guess “helping” her and when she came to my table she was so rude. She came to bring some drinks and left right away without saying anything . I was wanting to ask her if we can have some straws so I said excuse me and she continue to walk away acting like she couldn’t hear me! At first I was like okay she probably didn’t hear me but when I helped myself to go get some straws myself since it was in a spot that I was able to grab she comes back saying “I have your straws here.” She was very passive aggressive. That’s when I realized that she did hear me and chose to ignore me! She was horrible throughout the whole time me and my friends where there. She again came back to bring a second round of drinks and again no straws on her? But says “And I’ll bring you your straws right now”again in a (passive aggressive manner) Like if you know I’m going to ask for straws why not bring them along with the drinks and not be having us wait for them?? Plus what waitress doesn’t have straws on them? She was honestly the worse waitress I’ve ever came across with. She’s a joke and is an older woman acting like she’s 15 with that type of attitude. She was so rude and disrespectful if a manager reads this I hope he talks to her about her behavior. She definitely hates her job and takes it up on others I can only imagine how she treats her coworkers. Plus the service was very slow we ended up having to order two drinks at the same time for the reason that they kept on forgetting about us. I was very disappointed I’ve never felt the way I did that night at a restaurant. I rather go to a taco stand by the projects then ever coming here again."

"The owner of this restaurant was as rude as ever and completely out of line. He even tried to recruit my 4-year-old daughter to work in the kitchen! Yet, he refused to let us sit in the dining area with our one-and-only $50 mediocre pizza because their sign states “no outside food EVEN IF YOU ORDERED FOOD HERE.” I ended up having a bowl of chowder from a neighboring place. When I questioned him, saying, “You can’t let a mother sit with her family after we paid $50 for a pizza? It’s just chowder,” he completely lost it. His reaction was unreasonable and very impersonal. Honestly, the pizza isn’t worth the $50. I recommend going to a proper sit-down restaurant at Pike Place Market for a better experience. For example, try Cutters for fantastic views, food, and service. If you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, visit the Market at Pike."

"When we arrived a hostess did not want to honor our reservation. She indicated that too many people have been waiting that didn’t have reservations. She said we would have to wait at least 30 minutes. My friend and I asked what’s the point of taking reservations If they are not honored? She apologized and said we had to wait—we asked to speak to a manager. She shared they were having a problem with OpenTable not notifying them reservations have been made. She quickly cleared a table in the bar area and we were helped right away. It was pretty loud and there were a lot of people there. Live music, and conversation and your typical bar scene. The drinks were good, and the food was okay. My friend was served a burnt sandwich and a server dropped my food. But they replaced both in a timely fashion. The menu was extensive and I would be willing to try it again."

"We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Big mistake. I mentioned it being a special day when I called to reserve a table and twice throughout the evening and no one seemed to care. Usually in a restaurant for a special occasion they will at least recognize the celebration and wish you well. I guess it was too much of an effort for them. As soon as we sat down at the table, without looking at the wine list, the server wanted to know what kind of wine we would like. Then he wanted us to order right away. Talk about feeling rushed. We managed to put him off and he left us and never came back. We found someone else to serve and chose a bottle of wine. Then the minimal staff completely forgot about us and we had to ask someone to place our dinner order. We had previously checked the menu online and knew what we wanted, however, when my husband ordered the Osso Bucco (which is why we chose the restaurant), they said they didn 't have it. That was a huge disappointment. He chose something else and we placed the order. Then we waited and waited... When the food didn 't arrive arrive after an extremely long time, we asked a server to check on it. She came back and said it wasn 't ready and offered a single comp salad to tide us over. Our meals finally arrived and were just adequate, not great. The veal was grisly and greasy. We didn 't bother to order dessert and weren 't asked if we wanted to or not as, by then the staff were too busy sitting together eating their own meals. Since it was still early in the evening, we felt that was very poor etiquette. As soon as we walked into the place earlier in the evening, we got the impression of being outsiders and not part of their usual patronage. My recommendation if you want to be treated special when you go out for a meal, be it a special anniversary, birthday or whatever, unless you 're a local at this restaurant, don 't waste your time and be as disappointed as we were."

"Amazing all around!Service was great, atmosphere was excellent, food was delicious, couldn't have asked for a better experience.It's a small restaurant with very limited seating and a wine bar on the back wall. We were fortunate enough to walk in and get a table, there were 3 reserved already when we got there. In all there are about 10 tables, so go early or make sure you reserve, you won't be disappointed.Now for the food,First, the HOUSE SALAD, it's not a typical house salad and maybe they should warn people of that. You have 2 options a Caesar or house, I believe the house is a is a raspberry vinaigrette dressing with sunflower seeds and cubes of cheese. While it wasn't what I was expecting it was excellent!For my entree I went with the Lobster ravioli. Absolutely flavor packed. The sauce is excellent, raviolis we're perfect, lobster was good, slightly overdone but still excellent, I would definitely visit this dish again.While we were waiting I was watching other foods come out. Let me suggest, if you're not absolutely starving order the petite chicken parmigiana, the regular size order is absolutely massive!I'm not sure how long this place has been here but I hope it catches on and they flourish. In a town that people complain constantly about lack of dining options this is a diamond. Anytime I feel for Italian food this will be my first option.Thank you to the staff and owners."

"at lunch today I have to check out because they not only have a vegan section on their menu, but have heard that the coffee is great! I honestly had no idea what I chose for eating at first, which is a great thing, especially for a place that is not all vegan and local. I settled down with the falafel burger so that I can try out her falafel and hummus at the same time (it also came with really big handcuffedries it was creepy with the hummus, which is not bad, but only a personal thing, so if they were not in creepy burgers, they can get the falafel in their classic form with hummus on the side. the patty was really crisp and had great taste. the inner is shocked, which made me nothing! even since this is mainly a Turkish caffe, I had to get her Turkish coffee. I just tried and enjoyed it once, so I was very happy that I could get a tiny swallow of it somewhere in western chester, and they did it right the personal was also very nice and came to me and then to check me. there is a good number of sitting inside and a bit sitting outside. if they ever come in the opposite, in any case and check them. they are only open for two years and are looking for more vegan options for breakfast"

"This just may be one of our main spots! Finally came here to give this spot a try. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! Upon walking in, I already had a very good vibe. The ambiance seemed really nice. The lighting was perfect. The jazzy style music being piped in over the sound system was very nice. Great pictures hanging on the wall of old Suisun from yesteryear. My wife ordered the seafood linguini and she loved it. I had the lamb shank and it was fall off the bone delicious! Our server's were very attentive but not overbearing. We will most definitely be back again. Two thumbs up."
