"Pretty underwhelming experience here. The location and views are awesome. The ambiance and decor is classy and nice as well. Server was nice and friendly as well. But unfortunately we were here for a nice dinner. The ceviche with plantain chips was decent, although not a whole lot going on and was pretty small have had cevichetuna tartarepoke type dishes with my wife all over the place and this would rank in the bottom half. The green papaya salad was pretty good, probably my favorite from our lineup, decent flavors, etc. Then came our entrees. My wife's fettuccine made fresh daily was basically flavorless now it wasn't rosemary pasta or something like that, but fresh pasta has more flavor, and it was a bit soft as well, just didn't have the consistency we were expecting. It wasn't bad, and I'm sure they did make it fresh, but it just wasn't great. The pomodoro sauce was nonexistent, and the meatball was solid, but I don't think the fact that it was Wagyu made much difference over other solid meatballs. I got the catch of the day which was Wahoo, and it was okay, fish was cooked raremedium rare and it was solid, but nothing to write home about. And it came with Asian fried rice and vegetables. The rice was pretty salty, too salty, and I don't mind salt and I love fried rice. So that was a bit of a letdown. The fish didn't have any great distinct flavor, so because I didn't love the rice as well... was just a sort of meh entree. So overall, location and view from up on the hill to the water was incredible, very nice decor, good people, just thought the food was not great for the price. If it was the price at a waterfront bar that are a dime a dozen on STT, all good. So partially this pretty critical review is because the price point of this place sets a very high bar, and it didn't reach it. Not really even close. We went to Pesce in Red Hook the next night and that meal blew this one out of the water good, fresh pasta, at the price too"
