"We asked for the server and he was attentive, funny, and tolerant of us, two food snobs from New Orleans. If you are familiar with and enjoy Houston/Hillstone restaurants, you will also enjoy 151 Main. The mood, atmosphere, style, and presentation are almost exactly the same, and that is not a bad thing at all. Based on reviews we read, we ordered the grain and the strawberry shortcake. For appetizers, we got the smoked salmon (served with cornbread, a generous portion) and both were excellent. For our main course, we ordered the crab cake and the fish specialty, which was golden tilefish. The crab cakes were a good size and had a delicious full-grain flavor. Now let me talk about the tilefish. It is a light, fluffy fish with a slightly sweet taste similar to crab or lobster. I particularly enjoyed it with the lemon butter crumb sauce. Since it was our first time there and we wanted to chat during dinner, they kindly gave us the last strawberry shortcake for dessert. The shortcake was more like a biscuit (I loved it, but my sister preferred the cake), and the vanilla bean ice cream was amazing. We couldn't finish everything, but we thoroughly enjoyed what we could eat."
