"Food was very good. Impressive service when it comes down to the bread service and the clearing of the table. The server himself was very dry, straight to what are we drinking what are we eating. Did not mention any specials, did not acknowledge the special celebration. The place is beautiful, very clean, will return for food and ambiance, however it was almost empty on a Saturday at 8:00. Hopefully we get another server!"

"The food leans towards the expensive side, but it certainly does not disappoint when it comes to flavor! I tried the deviled eggs, which were delicious and perfectly seasoned, along with the bratwurst. The bratwurst was lighter than what I usually have, but it was incredibly juicy and full of flavor. On a less positive note, the potatoes that accompanied the bratwurst were a bit dry. However, everything else was excellent! I also enjoyed their impressive selection of craft beers, which offered a fantastic variety. The service was attentive, quick, and very friendly. I’m excited to have this restaurant nearby and look forward to trying their coffee offerings next!"

"Place is cool, bartender last night, not so much. I am relatively new here and this is a good spot to give the night some energy. Last night I was there with two friends and when we got our drinks, mine was made incorrectly. When I told the (guy) bartender, he pulled my straw then tasted it (which is gross) and told me that is what I ordered. I told him, “no, it’s my go to drink so I know what it tastes like.” He then tells me “people” try to get free drinks doing that every night and he “doesn’t know me.” Keep in mind I had one sip of the drink and it still looked full. So he begrudgingly remade my actual drink and left the incorrect one that he drank out of in front of me. I guess he was assuming I was going to take both, to get my “free drink.” I of course did not. He then rolls his eyes as if it’s a bother to throw away the incorrect drink. Meanwhile, the bartender that made it CONFIRMED it was not what I ordered. She was great but that resulted in my first time leaving a zero tip in over 10 years. Sorry to her, but if your people/teammates treat customers like that, I’m sure I won’t be the last. Guy needs to lose the attitude and be more courteous to your customers."

"They don't have vegan items marked on their menu, but they do have a separate section for vegetarian sandwiches. I had to ask which ones could be made vegan, and they said all of them can be. I got the Tom Brady sandwich, vegan, with no avocado, and for some reason I think they left out the mushrooms. It had vegan cheese in it, fake meat, and some kind of sauce. It was delicious, I would definitely go back again. The price is also not too bad and the sandwich is decently sized, I could eat the whole thing and be really full or save half for later. I got the sandwich to go and they wrapped it in paper, put it in a paper bag and gave me paper napkins, so everything was biodegradable."

"Take a look at the photo for their disappointing version of a bagel with whitefish, lettuce, tomato, and onion. It was $13 each, but it contained hardly any whitefish, and there was virtually no tomato, onion, or lettuce to be found. It makes you wonder why they even bothered taking our order if this is what they were going to serve. This experience was so underwhelming that it feels intentional. I would recommend avoiding this place."

"I had sushi and sashimi from several restaurants that only 1 higher than my bad experience. I tried to place the order over her app, but it kept saying that it is necessary to complete the order, I did this 3 times without an incident. strike 1! I started ordering from the word, restarting the app made sure that I had a solid signal, nothing yet. strike 2! called the command and had extremely difficultities to hear the polite young lady who tried to take this order. I arrived earlier than expected and was surprised that the order was almost finished, great I thought. bring them the sadest excuse from sushi to house that I had in at least 5 years. the image below shows how little fish was in the roll. strike MF’n 3! we really enjoyed this place and ordered several sushi bowls with little to nothing. WON’T see us back. I don't know who or what has changed at management or supplier level, but they have messed up themselves. I hate to write bad critikens, but that needs to get through who the owner is. they cut their quality when they should focus on making it better. if they can, do one please and order sushi elsewhere, where they actually offer fish in the roll."

"This place used to be good and are go to pizza place but the last couple of times they messed up our order. We literally called an order in and when we got there to pick it up they didn’t have our name or order plus the ladies working behind the counter were really rude about it. Once we got the pizza home it was burnt on the bottom. Yes we said crispy but we didn’t say charcoal. It tasted so gross. Sad that this place took a turn for the worst."

"Anyone living in the area has likely been coming here for years, and for good reason. The sandwiches are outstanding, and the creativity that goes into the menu items is unparalleled. I can't do it justice by just describing it; you really have to check out the menu yourself. Without a doubt, these are the best subs in Central Jersey, and likely in the entire state. It was more nostalgic when they allowed indoor seating and displayed numerous plaques celebrating local high school sports teams—it's truly a shame that those days are gone. Usually, such changes could seriously impact a local business, but Wally's quality is so exceptional that they seem to be thriving more than ever. Overall, Sayreville is fortunate to have this hidden gem of a restaurant."

"Overall, the choice of colors on this cart are pleasing, though I think some care could have been given to the overall palette. The blue does evoke water, the source of all seaweed and fish, but the greens feel a little washed out. Some Warmer colors, maybe burnt umbee, might have added welcome contrast to the image. The art style manages to strike a close enough balance between Mexican Artesina and Japanese Manga, though the line work seems sadly neglected. A bit more effort into recognizing more visual tropes from each style, and maybe leaning into Sumie styles would earn this cart a 5 star rating.Food was good."

"Awesome little retro arcade/Restaraunt and bar. Came in for about an hour, had some food and played some games. We had the Greek burger with tater tots and Buffalo chicken wrap with French fries. Food was on point and definitely would like to come back to check out more of their menu. The pinball games were by far the most fun for us to play, but there are also old cabinet games, skeeball, air hockey, and old console games scattered about. We spent 10 dollars on tokens and only used about 7 in the hour we were there. The waitress behind the bar was attentive and helpful as well. We went on a Thursday night and it wasn't crowded at all. Can't wait to go back!Parking: There is some additional parking just past the railroad tracks."

"Special thanks to the Fix! This was my first experience with vegan food and I am in love. I ordered the Fix Vegan Melt. It is a sandwich that was perfectly prepared with roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, kale, vegan harissa cheese spread, served on Tuscan herb bread, with tomato basil dipping sauce. I am kicking myself because I did not order one of the freshly made smoothies to pair with my sandwich. The Fresh Fix of the Heights is my new go to! Their concept of fresh is absolutely genius."

"They have vegan slices for $3/slice, make sure to call ahead to see if they have slices before going, if they don't you can ask them to make a vegan pizza for you but it'll take 20-25 minutes so plan ahead. They have vegan tofu ricotta and soyrizo that is not on the menu but available all the time. Thin slices, NY style pizzas."

"I was skeptical of yet another sushi spot in the neighborhood, but a delivery app had a promotion, and I decided to try them out. I got the It's Always Sunny sushi burrito and a spam musubi. I was absolutely, positively blown away by how good they both were. Their sushi rice is not an exaggeration some of the most perfectly prepared I've ever had. The burrito was fresh, balanced, and surprisingly nuanced for such a common combination of ingredients. Also, the spam musubi was just an absolute treat! Not only will I eat there again, but I now have the intention of trying their entire (reasonably priced, all things considered) menu. Five stars, hands down!"
