"I will join the many others on here who are saying this place has simply gone downhill! I was a customer for over 5 years and things just are not as good as they once were from the service to the quality of the food. I tried to resolve a mistake on my order (that was completley their fault) with the front staff and not only did they tell me there was no manager I could speak with about the issue, but I had left my name and phone number and did not recieve a call from anyone at all and it has been over a weeks time..To be fair they had offered me a voucher for an equal meal but at this point with the service lately and this not being the first mistake paired with the food quality going down, I am no longer a customer at the restaurant, all I was asking for was my money back on an over priced salad that they had made the mistake on."

"I just ordered the chicken riggies, and while I was taking a few bites, I noticed something on my pasta. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was a bug. I've ordered from Canales many times before, and I've never experienced anything like this. I'm still in shock from this discovery. If I decide to order from Canales again, I'll be extra cautious with every bite."

"I ordered what I assumed was a medium size, and I'm glad I didn't go for the large. They delivered it right to my truck at the gas station, which was convenient. They said it would take 45 minutes, but it ended up being the fastest I've experienced in over half an hour. The pizza was hot and delicious— the sauce was fantastic, and the crust was perfectly cooked to a golden brown. My only criticism is that the sausages lacked shine; they could have been more like robust Italian sausage. Overall, it was a great experience, and I look forward to placing more orders from this truck stop since they no longer have a restaurant."

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. OpenTable gave it a 4.7 rating, which left me wondering if that was a mistake. I ordered the chicken beaucens, and each taco had only about two tablespoons of crushed meat served on a cold flour tortilla. One member of our party requested bread or crackers to go with the shrimp cocktail, only to be informed that they weren’t available. We noticed something on the menu that included Texas toast and asked for that instead. The shrimp scampi was nothing to write home about either. I definitely won’t be recommending this place!"

"Worst pizza place ever!!. "The coupon was listed under the fine dining section, and we expected to enjoy some seafood, particularly the Grilled Mahi-Mahi that was mentioned. However, the menu had changed, and it only featured sandwiches and pizza. While this might be suitable for room service, it certainly wasn't what we had in mind for a special anniversary dinner. Feeling disappointed, we left and opted for Red Lobster instead, where we enjoyed endless shrimp and a seafood platter. The service there was excellent, and we were treated wonderfully."
