"I wasn't initially planning on a culinary adventure when I set out to wander the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville. The trees, ablaze with holiday lights, were my sole destination. But the inviting glow of a nearby Morton Seafood restaurant, coupled with the gentle river breeze, lured me in for a draft beer and a respite from the crisp night air. While hunger pangs hadn't quite set in, I couldn't resist indulging in a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and bursting with freshness and was enhanced by a tangy cocktail sauce. The atmosphere and service was great along with views of Tchefuncte River. So, if you're ever strolling along the Tchefuncte River, don't just admire the lights give Morton’s a try."
