"We had high expectations as the place usually seems pretty busy. My husband and I got there and put our order in fairly quickly. Then the wait began. Two parties who came in after us got their food. The waitress said the reason was one party had ordered onepizza and we ordered two. I don't know why the amount of food should matter when it comes to getting your tickets out. Then thewaitress said we had only been there for 22 minutes. We had been there longer than 22 minutes it was closer to 35 for 40 minutes22 minutes was just how long the ticket had been in for. I would have had more respect for the waitress had she just said Iforgot to put your ticket in. We took our pizzas to go and they were okay. Back to Frank Pepe's though"

"This place is way over-hyped. We arrived to our reservation, super excited to try out (what looked to be) cool food and drinks, and were so let down. Upon sitting down at our waitress came to our table and flat out told us that she couldn’t serve us and that we had to leave because we weren’t yet. The restaurants website said that they began carding and the hostess didn’t mention it when I asked placing the reservation. Not only that, but there were MULTIPLE families with young children who came in behind us that were being served....We drove forever to get here and that rude waitress refused to even let us sit. It was my friends (the rest of us turn in the next month) and he was SO let down. What a complete waste! Never going back even when I do turn terrible service and not worth the cheap prices."

"WOW! Literally, I can’t stop smiling and saying how impressed I am. This may be a long ramble, but worth it. If you’re ever in St. Petersburg, we HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It definitely gives off Texas Roadhouse vibes, but the service, quality of food, and atmosphere is 110% better. This was our first time there, and our server was so good. The quality was seriously unmatched. The manager came over to introduce himself, and we chatted a bit. Next thing you know, he’s sending over a free round on him. Such great hospitality. Like we can’t stop talking about how great they were to us. In this day and age, I’ve kind of lost faith in good service. It’s been restored at Cody’s. They say if people have a bad experience they tell everyone, but if it’s a good one, they tell maybe ONE person. So I’m here to tell everyone reading this! Also, the drinks are insanely strong so if you go for happy hour, you only need the 2 drinks! Hahaha "

"My first time ordering from Codys. All the food is great. Lots of ribs with tender meat falling off the bones. I chose the baked potato with everything, which is one of the largest and best I ever had. The sweet potato was not a choice with the meal but I bought extra from the sides, It was also large and cooked and seasoned just right. The salad is very large with enough to share. The rolls were a suprise and so good. I will order again many times."

"Imagine driving over an hour to a steak house and spending over 60$ for poor service, and even worse food. When we walked in, we stood there for at least 5 minutes before anyone noticed us. Once we were sat, we waited another 13 minutes while we watched numerous employees walk around aimlessly paying no mind to guests. Finally after waiting almost 15 minutes and getting ready to walk out, Joy runs over to us to ask if we 've been waiting long which I respond with about 15 minutes , she apologizes multiple times to the point where it 's awkward but the service was just as bad. She was not present, she did not listen while we were ordering, there were many many mixups and things that needed fixing and our food had to be refired, 3 times!! By the end my steak still wasn 't right and my wife 's ribs were AWFUL! No manager ever stepped foot at our table, no apology, no discount on our bill. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and we left hungry. Also, this isn 't a medium well steak. If you send out 3 steaks and they still aren 't correct, someone needs to change the way they are cooking food. This is unacceptable."

"Great experience I have eaten here before in the past there was more rowers, but now it is quieter that I enjoyed my meal was not as chaotic as usual there are usually peanuts everywhere, but this is part of the restaurants niche. Only this time there was no music because the system is down, so it is very quiet what was a little strange usually you hear something before it played music, so it is only likely this time around. The server was very nice to believe Lina was her name. More than one person came to check on my table to make sure we were all right, so that was a big plus and I felt as if I was visited. The food content was massive, two people can eat from a plate. So you definitely get your bang for your dollar for your money. Amazingly good and tasteful. I had the combo meal of shrimps and half a rib was $23 and worth every penny. You have salads and rolls with the delicious cinnamon butter as well as a page that I selected the loaded potato. I had to take half of it home because it was huge. I would definitely recommend. And I will come back to the menu before I ordered the coconut shrimp and that was also amazing."
