"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and was seated promptly. Since Burmese restaurant are rear in the area, we were really looking forward to this experience. While we weren't in a hurry, the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they pushed to have a food order at the same time. We choose to wait to order the food until the drinks were brought to us. We ordered the Burmese style beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces of the meat stews were nice, it wasn't spectacular! The stew meats were definitely not tender. If you enjoy tough meat, then these dishes are for you. Additionally, the Moh Hin Ga was lacking in flavor and in my colleagues words: "would not order it again". Also, soft drinks and iced tea and refilled complimentary. Given the rush and the below average experience, will not be going back. Given there their great Yelp ratings, there seems to be a lot of patrons that like it. Maybe we just attended them on a bad day or the normal Chef was not present that day..."

"We visited this restaurant with my extended family for Christmas Eve lunch, and unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. Two of the turkey burgers were served completely raw, and my dad found cheese wrappers in his sandwich. The waitress was clearly busy and doing her best, but by the time she checked on us, my family members had already eaten food meant for other tables, making it too late to have the undercooked meals corrected or reordered. We ended up spending $200 for a meal where 3 out of the 10 dishes were inedible."

"We were a party of 4 for my BIL birthday dinner! We had a wonderful time! First of all, I would like to thank the hostess, the cook(s) to the bar staff and especially our server Corey. From the beginning to the end of the service and food were imitated! Food: we didn't order any apps. We went straight to the net. We had 2 orders of butter milk roasted chicken, 1 order of cattle short ribs and 1 order of crunchy pork shoulder. All were juicy, delicate and aromatic. For shady sides we had butter milk rolls (addictively tasty, we ordered it twice), Mac and cheese(yummy) and smeared winter green. We were not disappointed. Parking: You must park in a parking garage BUT the restaurant gives you a confirmation card so that parking is free. 5/5 Recommend to give them an attempt! Thanks for the wonderful service! We're coming back!"

"My most recent visit to Agraria was extremely enjoyable – from the perfect table by the fireplace and the full height windows at the front, to the house specialty cocktails, the service, the unforgettable menu items, and the wine, this was a very good pick. I learned from our server that Chef Russel Cunningham recently joined Agraria and is a noted talent, recently from the Dupont Grille at the Jurys Hotel. His small but noticeable touches to the menu and the food as evidence that Agraria is taking great strides to raise their profile. The server also told us that Chef Cunningham is currently working on new menus, which i’ll be interested to see. We enjoyed Wild Maine mussels and fried green tomatoes as starters, which were both excellent. the mussels were large and plump and the broth was very flavorful and great for dipping the home made breads. For the entrees we had the pork loin and the tuna – both were delicious, with light and interesting sauces. We shared a side of mac cheese, which was hot and creamy and delish. I think next time i’ll try the Hamachi, which i’ve never had before, but the server highly recommended it. For dessert we shared the house-made bread pudding with the homemade ice cream. We always like to try bread pudding if a restaurant serves it, and this was the best that we’ve had in a long time. Coffee and port for me, and coffee for my dining companion, and we were full and happy and thinking about brunch for our next visit."

"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I had heard wonderful things about it. Unfortunately, we had one person in our party who doesn't eat seafood, and there were no appetizers available that didn't contain seafood. Additionally, the Oscar-style steak we ordered had crab shell in it, and our waitress never came back to check on us. We also ordered drinks, but they only arrived after we were ready to leave."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"I’m going to start this by saying I only leaving rating when a place is horrible or phenomenal. My boyfriend and I went to @marysvine followed by @thestudyatmarysvine just outside of Pittsburgh last night. First, the environment is unique for so many reasons. It doesn’t feel like a chain or that you are simply another number coming through the door. Having such a detailed, rich atmosphere, this place makes you feel special, almost regal. The wine room is beautiful to look at, as are the large windows and church organ. The service is knowledgeable and thorough, looking to make sure you have the best experience possible. The wine list is the largest I’ve seen in the area. Being able to see detailed photos of the seasonal food menu on iPads is wonderful. The food is thoughtful, and frankly, exquisite. The flavor of the pairings still makes my mouth water. Unlike other restaurants, we weren’t rushed, making it feel much more like an experience rather than an exchange. At the end of our meal, we quietly looked at each other and asked each other’s ranking of the evening up to that point. We agreed on 9.25 and couldn’t recall another experience we’ve ranked higher. Following dinner we headed downstairs to @thestudyatmarysvine where the entrance is enough to set the tone for the evening. You enter through a painting into what feels like another time. The smell of leather and cigars fills the air while your eyes look over the detailed couches, walls of books, and humidor. The iPad menu allow you to see the options with a beautiful photo and listed details of each crafted cocktail. You feel both relaxed and rewarded in The Study. As we sat in the leather chairs, we decided the rating jumped to 9.75. Although we feel more people need to know about the experience, we also like that it feels like a well kept secret outside of the city. This place would be perfect for a quality, luxurious birthday, anniversary, or intimate reception. I will absolutely recommend this place to everyone. We will be back. "Great experience at Skippers Pier, the weather was horrible and they had to relocate people so we did not have a table when we arrived. The staff was apologetic and put us at the top of the waitlist. The wait was about 10 mini which was not too long. Our server was courteous and professional. It was 3 crab night so we ordered half dozen, calamari, crab balls, and Oyster Chesapeake for appetizers. The calamari was a little over done but the two accompanying sauces complimented it perfectly. The children ordered the Pier Burger with French fries for entree which looked great and they enjoyed it. We ordered the Rockfish which came on friend green tomatoes, lump crabmeat on top and a corn sauce. Great flavors, my fish was a little dry over done and my husband switched his with mine and it was delicious. Drinks were great, he had a Manhattan and I tried the Tropical julep and coconut and pineapple crush. Dessert was great strawberry beignet and apple dumpling. We would definitely visit again."

"It was my last night in Hilton Head so I knew I wanted to have a great meal with a drink! I decided to come here with an open mind not knowing what awaited me. When I first drove up to enter the resort, I wasn't aware there was a cash entry fee just to enter the resort! Had I known this in advance, I would have made sure to have cash in my wallet. I quickly found an ATM nearby and came back to enter. As it was nighttime, it was pitch black with minimal lights so I made sure to drive slow. I didn't realize the property was this big and it was a nice adventure up to the restaurant! It was a pleasant drive and I quite enjoyed it. Upon arriving outside the restaurant, you're taken aback by the properties itself which was beautiful and statuesque. I went up the stairs and then proceeded to the restaurant and sat at the bar. The staff was super professional and they pulled out the chair and helped me get closer to the bar, which was nice! I decided to sit at the end of the bar, which was a smart choice as the night progressed. The restaurant is quite enchanting inside with tons of seating and you could tell the entire experience is all about the customer, which I can appreciate. I ordered an old fashioned to start, which was excellent! They even used fresh nutmeg, which is what really brought that whole drink together. After hearing the specials and reading through the menu, I decided on oysters, a wedge salad and the Scottish smoked salmon. The oysters were great and all 3 sauces it came with complimented them well. I found the wedge salad to be bland and felt it needed more seasoning. Although I asked for fresh cracked black pepper, that still didn't bring that dish together for me. Now, I asked for my salmon to be cooked medium rare, which was perfect! The mashed potatoes had this silky smooth texture and texture wise, were some of the best mashed potatoes I've had. However, that dish was lacking some serious salt and flavor for me! Had that seasoning been added, this would have been a magnificent dish. Aside from the lack of salt and seasoning on my dishes, the food was still very good. While at the bar, I ended up conversing with the staff, who were not only attentive, but engaging and made sure that my experience there was extraordinary. For me, they made my night and I will definitely be returning in the future. All I can say is this is a restaurant you should come visit and you will not be disappointed with the overall experience!"

"Fantastic dinner with beyond excellent service from Kevin and Diego. We had three apps: steak bruschetta, Who Dat shrimp, and the crab cake. The tomatoes on the bruschetta were a bit bitter but the rest were awesome, especially the crab cake. Lobster bisque and French onion soup were awesome. The lamb chops are absolutely the best I have ever had. The flaming mojito glaze that tops the lamb chops makes for quite a presentation and is delicious. Desserts, peanut butter pie and crepe brûlée were delicious. We were allowed to have an unhurried meal of superb food accompanied by the best service."

"We dined for brunch, our first time enjoying brunch there, and it was very good! We sat outside, there was a musician, he was great and not too loud which was nice. We enjoyed the cinnamon roll to start (we could have definitely ordered another to eat again it was that good) and enjoyed mimosas throughout our meal. My fiancé got the croissant French toast, I got the broadwell breakfast. Both were very tasty, but the only critique I would give is to serve the syrup on the side, because it was all over the plate and in both our eggs which did not the make eggs very tasty. We were celebrating my birthday, and it was recognized and I received a complimentary dessert of my choice. Lauren was a great server! Friendly, knowledgable and always there if we needed her! We love this restaurant and we will be back"

"I rated 3 and my boyfriend rated 4 stars. We both ordered filet mignon. He got the mashed potatoes and I got the green beans. We also got the famous shrimp cocktail. Compliment sandwich here… the sides were very tasty and not overly done with oil or butter. The rolls were good with lots of butter. I really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, but you MUST be a fan of horseradish. My boyfriend did not like it at all, but he dislikes horseradish. The cocktail sauce had a quick sharp bite to it, so get ready. I gave Harry and Izzy’s 3 stars because I am a steak snob. I love to cook and rarely eat out because I make things the way I like. I ordered a medium rare steak. For over $50, I would have expected it to be correctly cooked. It was well done and not good. In my opinion, a well done steak is a great way to ruin a steak. My boyfriend likes his steak burnt to a crisp and he liked it. He thought it had a lot of flavor. The waitress did send the manager over, but I’m not into giving a second chance on a first impression with food. The atmosphere was nice. I had a very good Cabernet Sauvignon (I got the Justin, Paso Rubles). I don’t think I will eat here again unless I have gift card."

"We went to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday last Saturday night. The restaurant was empty, which was nice. However, we were disappointed when we received three incorrect orders and the food was subpar. The steak for our guest of honor was overcooked, the salmon in my husband's order was not prepared as described, and my salad, which I had asked for dressing on the side, was drenched in it. Even my son's meal tasted bad. The bathrooms were messy and there was broken glass on the floor by the bar. After requesting it, we finally had the uneaten overcooked steak removed from our bill, but it still came to $140 after tax, and that wasn't the only thing we had ordered. We had friends join us later, but because of our negative experience, we decided to go somewhere else instead. This restaurant definitely needs to make some major improvements in order to succeed."

"WHAT A COOL NEIGHBORHOOD GEM! Had the pleasure of dining here because of the recommendations of Open Table. My hubby had the brisket dinner and I went with the BBQ platter. Both were yummy. I would suggest that you ask your server for additonal BBQ sauce. Tastes even better with slathered sauce. Mashed potatoes and fries were both delicious and the tropical slaw was a tasty change from the traditional cole slaw. Thumbs up to this restaurant. Also Tuesday nite is Trivia nite which added to the fun of the evening. Really a neat place that I would highly recommend"

"Black Sheep is a great restaurant. The service is almost always excellent and this trip was no exception. Our waiter was great, personable and prompt. We had multiple happy hour cocktails which were of high quality and delivered quickly. The happy hour drinks are a great value. The Dusty Boot is my favorite and I hope it never leaves the menu. The food was good and tasty. The kitchen at Black Sheep is one of the best in Jacksonville. However the price for the food, even for the happy hour items, is getting out of hand. I have visited Black Sheep since they have opened. I’ve watched the pricing on the food increase over time and several items are now 30-50% higher than they were several years ago. Vegetable sides for dinner are now $7-8 dollars. A large salad is $14. These items used to be $5 and $10. The cheapest sliders for happy hour are $9. There is less meat on all three sliders combined than would be in a single small sandwich. The cheapest main for dinner is a $15 burger WITHOUT CHEESE. A slice of cheese is $1. One. Dollar. So $16 for a cheese burger and some shoestring fries. I know it’s grass fed beef but still! It’s obscene. If someone at Black Sheep is reading this, please, work on that menu and the pricing. You have slowly priced a loyal customer out of visiting your restaurant. You have good food but the value is no longer there. You have competition now, even in your own neighborhood. I love your restaurant and want you to win me back."

"On our most recent trip we went for Valentine's and the reservation was chaos. However, at the end of the night, the overall experience was very nice. One of our meals was on the cool side, but was immediately rectified. The togarashi tuna appetizer was phenomenal. Our side salad served with an avocado vinaigrette was very tasty as was the fresh bread with seasoned oil My husband had the stuffed flounder. His dish was exceptional, but a bit small for the price. My dish is not on the current online menu; ahi tuna topped with crab, served with a baked potato and asparagus. The food was awesome, however it came out cool and once rectified the tuna was overcooked The online menu is not up to date. The actual menu is much smaller. The desserts were the highlight of the night, very tasty Overall, our server Zack, was very good. Since it was a very busy night, he did great I would recommend this restaurant if the menu suits you."

"This was our first time visiting the restaurant. We arrived at 8:31pm and found no one at the host/hostess desk, with no other customers waiting to be seated. We were finally seated at around 8:37pm, but unfortunately, no one took our drink order or even acknowledged us. We ended up leaving at 8:58pm due to the lack of service."

"If you are in Nashville for a day, you must go for dinner to the Midtown Cafe. The place has been here for 30 years and once you eat here you will understand why. If you by yourself sit at the bar. Gina will welcome you with a warm and pretty smile. To start I recommend the Lemon Artichoke soap. The soup has been on the menu since the day the restaurant opened. A wonderful combination of bitter ness balanced with a touch of paprika. Next you must have the "Seared Dayboay Sea Scallops", served with lobster Brie Mac and Cheese, asparagus and a white lobster cream sauce. Save room some room for jalapeño bread pudding. Yeap jalapeño and bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. While writing this review the whole bar area has filled with people waiting for a table. Make sure you get here early. Actually I am coming back for breakfast!"

"My server was great but the food was not acceptable. I attempted to eat it but I don't think anything is being held at a proper temp and the food was either burnt or just mushy. Even the salad bar was a mess. Cucumbers looked like they were prepped 3 days ago and the tomatoes and onions were almost were for sure at least 3 days old. Normally I don't leave reviews but I noticed most patrons are elderly so I'm concerned for them. Food: 1"

"This restaurant is a real treasure in the Islands region. Located in an historic stone mansion that once was run as a nunnery, it offers commanding views of the St Lawrence River and a lovely terrace for dining as well when weather permits. We highly recommend you put this on your to do list if visiting the area...it’s a bit pricey but the food and ambience are worth it."
