"I've enjoyed every dish I've tried at this restaurant over the years. I'm particularly fond of their miso soup and hot tea. "I appreciated the concept of building my own bowl and the variety of ingredients available. However, I found the seafood components to be rather small. While the size is suitable for mixing with other ingredients, I felt the quantity was lacking, and some of the flavors were quite bland. If you have to drown your food in sauce or dressing to enjoy it, then it raises the question of why you should pay so much. You might as well just sip the flavored liquid that's masking the other flavors you want to enjoy. I'm not a big fan of overly sweet sauces and dressings, which often coat a lot of Asian cuisine. I prefer just enough sauce to enhance the flavor without overwhelming the dish. I might give this restaurant another try in the future to sample a different dish and provide a more comprehensive review. Some of the others in our group ordered various items, including appetizers. Personally, I find plain white rice, as well as the bland brown rice in my bowl, to be uninspiring. Rice should be cooked with broth and additional ingredients to make it flavorful."

"Our first experience with Tengu Asian Bistro was through home delivery, and we were thoroughly impressed with our meal. Not only did we find the pricing to be reasonable, but the food was also fresh, flavorful, visually appealing, and arrived at our home exceptionally quickly. We ordered fried dumplings, three basic rolls, and two specialty rolls, which totaled around $80. We felt this was a fair price, especially when considering the overall experience, including taste, presentation, and packaging. The sushi was so good that for the first time in a long while, we finished everything we ordered. There are numerous reviews praising the specialty rolls, and we can certainly see why; they were absolutely delicious! The packaging was outstanding as well. The sushi was so well-packed that no matter how careless the delivery person might have been, the rolls arrived intact. I had expected them to be a mess upon opening the containers, but as shown in the pictures, the rolls were perfectly presented. Lastly, the rolls were tightly packed, ensuring they held together when picked up. If you're a fan of good sushi, I highly recommend giving Tengu a try. You won't be disappointed!"

"Tiny and cute restaurant in the heart of the town of Metuchen, NJ. Definitely, it is one of the best sushi place around NJ area. We ordered miso salad, then sushi spicy maki combo. In addition, we chose sashimi, which was pretty unique. Even though this sashimi was a thick cut, it was literally melting in your mouth. Another thing I want to point out is that I am not a big fun of wasabi, but this one had a lighter color and it was not as spicy as the ones I previously tasted. On a side note, customer service needs to improve their smile skills. Sushi Suzuki was overall a good experience."

"I was a huge regular here years ago and stopped going once ownership changed about 5 years ago. I stopped going because the owner micromanaged, made cheap swaps, and all the great staff quit. A coworker told me Kyoto got a new sushi chef and the food is way better now. I went today and it 's the same chef from 5 years ago, place looks even more run down, kept hearing the microwave when they were making my torched roll and our rolls were the only ones being made, service ignored us, the table/chairs/floors were sticky, our fried rice was pretty brutal and no egg in it?, the online menu on their website and in store menu are way off on ingredients and pricing, employee stuff scattered around sushi area, and overall everything just tasted worse than several years ago. I know this place is good for hibachi but nothing more than that. If you want good sushi in Bellingham Bluefin- always!"

"Delivery driver delivered my order to the wrong address so I had to have it resent. Once I finally received my order over an hour late the restaurant called to berate me and tell me my address was incorrect (which it's not. I've even had deliveries from this exact restaurant to this address with no issue before). Incredibly rude service. I was a repeat customer with delivery and sit down and will now never return because of how I was treated."

"I had a wonderful dining experience at Hana Sushi Hibachi Poke Bowl when I tried the chicken steak hibachi lunch. It was a classic hibachi dish, with fresh flavors, and it was served promptly. I would definitely order it again. I also sampled the Mexico sushi roll, but it’s not something I would choose next time. My girlfriend enjoyed a poke bowl, which was excellent. Overall, the menu at Hana Sushi Hibachi Poke Bowl offers great options, and I highly recommend this restaurant. I look forward to returning."

"I visited 3/26/22 at 5:00 pm. Not too busy yet. I would give Fontana Sushi 5 stars except for some cleaning details that were lacking. Service prompt and accurate. Food stellar. I ordered smoked salmon, eel pieces and two rolls. Fresh and cool. I sat under the TV at the far right counter. The entry is cluttered...it could be so sleek if the boxes and stereo equipment were either elsewhere or hidden in a low cabinet. Directly in front me was a display area. The glass was smudged inside and out and looked unclean. The saran wrap used to cover the fish inside should probably be removed during business hours instead of being rolled up against the glass. The metal edge had rag wipe marks. (Paper towels and cleaner would have made it all shine) the TV had food particles and splashes on the screen and sides. The cable box was dusty and dirty with a dirty urn on top if it. There were 3 lacquer seaweed boxes that were pretty gross on the outsides- time for new ones folks! The soy sauce bottles shined-no grub at all! The team all looked smart and clean. I so wish my little corner of their world was spiffed. I will be back and if these items are addressed I will delete any negative and give 5 stars!"

"This restaurant is a quiet and charming little spot. Despite the fact that the Christmas tree is still up and there are lights, I personally love Christmas so it didn't bother me. They have a variety of sushi options available. Although I had never tried sushi before, my daughter loves California rolls and I found the restaurant to be quite charming when I picked up our takeout order. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which is why I plan on returning in the future."

"Phenomenal sushi at amazing prices! I've been here a handful of times now visiting from LA and can say Fontana's quality and presentation easily defeats the spots in Little Tokyo and even the prized Sugarfish. When the salmon just melts in your mouth, you know you've come to the right establishment. Staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient which adds to the fantastic experience that much more. "I really enjoyed the Korean sashimi bowl, especially with the traditional spicy chojang sauce. The portion was quite generous. The bulgogi bento was good, but if you’re expecting classic Korean bulgogi, this isn’t it; it tastes more like beef with broccoli. It’s tasty, just not the traditional style. The egg rolls were excellent, and the shrimp tempura, mandu, and California roll were all delicious too. The service was very friendly and courteous."

"I had the worst experience here with my family. We went on a Thursday night and it was dead so I was excited for exceptional service but I was wrong. The sushi chefs were making Togo orders and not our own and kept looking over at us. We ordered misosoup for me and my two kids that was overwhelming with salt that we all spit it out and told the waiter and they looked at usconfused. Then we got all you can eat and after the first course never came back to ask us for anything else. We spend the wholenight tracking them down. The last course they made us wait 35 min until we asked them what happened to it and they forgot toput in the order. Absolutely horrible service. I think the worst part was when the waiter brought out our sushi they reachedover the empty plates and didn?t even remove them from the table. Sad. There isn?t many all you can eat sushi places around."

"Javelina has delicious food and great service. The restaurant is charming and just a short walk from Union Square. Even the salsa they make in-house to go with their chips to munch on while you look at the menu is delicious. I'm trying to eat my way through the menu. "I absolutely love this location! While it's not the original like the one in the Cottle area, it's very close and I had no idea it was here. After Cottle, this is my second favorite spot for Bill's. I tend to avoid the Willow Glen east side. The atmosphere and the staff really make this place stand out as my top choice! You've got to try their Benedicts; you can't go wrong with the steak or chicken fried steak. If you have a big appetite, definitely go for dessert! The crab cakes are still amazing, especially with the holiday sauce on the side. You can't go wrong with mimosas either! The customer service is consistently fantastic, and I really enjoy the bar area."
