"I actually give Pockets 5 stars for the location, food, tables and atmosphere. This 1 star is strictly for the bartender on Monday afternoon, July 3, 2023.We have only been here one other time and had a wonderful experience. However, today we had a horrible experience.We played 1 game of pool and decided to stay and eat before going to our next location. There were three of us and one of us ordered 2 sandwiches for the table. She ordered 1 Southwest Turkey Melt with no onions for our friend, and a Turkey Club for she and I to share.When the chef brought both sandwiches out, they were both Southwest Turkey Melt: one (for our friend) with no onion, and the other was placed in front of us. We looked at the chef confused and pointed out that we ordered the Turkey Club. He went to the bartender and her immediate reaction was to say we ordered two Southwest Turkey Melts.Now, we understand mistakes happen and usually go with the flow, however, after the bartender blamed us for making the wrong order, we also realized the sandwich had raw onions on it. My wife is ALLERGIC to raw onions, so if we had indeed ordered this sandwich, we would have ordered it without onions (as our friend did).Once we realized it had raw onions, I went to the bar and explained that we would never have ordered the sandwich with raw onions on it.Without an apology she took our plate and stormed into the kitchen and slammed the plate down and ordered the chef to make us a Turkey Club.Her behavior and demeanor were completely unacceptable and unprofessional. All she had to do was simply acknowledge a mistake was made and offer to remake the sandwich.I hope someone can help her understand customer service. At the end of the day, if it weren't for the allergy to raw onions, we probably would have just eaten the damn sandwich.The chef was very cordial when he brought out the other sandwich and I am grateful he didn’t try to make us feel worse in this situation."
