"This was our first time at Leola, and it certainly won’t be our last! Everything we tried was excellent—the roasted fish, fried shrimp, garlic shrimp, garlic corn, eggs, mac and cheese, and roasted okra... absolutely amazing! The prices were reasonable, and the portions were large. The hush puppies were the best I’ve had in years! The wings were meaty and well-sized, with plenty of flavors to choose from; we went for the hot garlic, and they were delectable. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was quicker than we anticipated. My daughter is starting college at FAMU next month, so we’ll be back often, and Leola has definitely made it onto our list of must-visit places for all our future trips!"
