"Talk about an actual hole in the wall! When I picked up my order, I asked them how long they've been around four years! I'm so mad I missed out on them for that long, but wow, I hope they continue to be here for the long haul.I ordered the spicy pork bibimbap, no mushrooms, and 6pc. fried dumpling. The dumplings were so good and a little bit of the dumpling sauce goes a long way. The bibimbap was AHMAZING. Fresh slightly pickled veggies, perfectly yolky egg. I asked them to hold the mushrooms. I do wish the kimchi included was a bigger amount, but I'm selfish for kimchi perfectly pickled and spiced. They'll certainly see me more often!"

"I have been a dedicated fan of Snuffer’s since the mid-1980s, when Pat Snuffer himself was in charge. The burgers, the ambiance, and those legendary cheddar fries were the essence of the restaurant. Regrettably, everything began to shift after the 2013 bankruptcy when Firebird Restaurant Group, the owner of El Fenix, took over. This move was not just a change in ownership; Firebird aggressively pursued Pat Snuffer, compelling him to close his other businesses and effectively erasing his footprint from the Dallas dining scene. The menu, once brimming with unique offerings like spinach quesadillas and the beloved burger of the month, has been severely diminished. In 2021, they introduced odd items like meatloaf with a sweet ketchup glaze and mac and cheese, which felt forced and out of sync with the restaurant’s tradition. By August 2024, the menu had been reduced by 70%, while prices have skyrocketed. Cheddar fries are now available in just two sizes, costing as much as $17 with toppings. Fried mushrooms are offered in a single size and feature a breading that doesn’t resemble the original flavor. The once-cherished burgers are now served on stale, thick buns that lack the signature poppy seed taste. The crispy chicken, now tough and overly breaded, further underscores the decline. The Greenville, Texas location is in disarray, with dust and cobwebs accumulating on the blinds and windowsills, and the bar area visibly neglected. It’s disheartening to witness a place that once exuded so much charm and nostalgia being allowed to fall apart. Firebird Restaurant Group has taken what was once a beloved local institution and transformed it into a mere shadow of its former self. Snuffer's deserves so much better."

"Will never go back to this restaurant. Went in on Friday night with a friend. Ordered 2 drinks and 2 waters. The server comes back with one drink and says they have to “find the liquor” for my friends drink. Okay, fine. Over walks the manager, actually maybe it said general manager on his shirt, can’t remember. Either way, he asks how we are and I told him we great! Just waiting on our water. He goes to get them, comes back, sits them on the table then walks away…saying Nothing as he sits them. My friend, tried to get his attn for straws as he turns away. He literally turns around, YELLS at us that he’s getting them, rudely. Then comes over and says “they were wet, I was getting new ones”. He NEVER said that. Then proceeds to talk to us, two women like we are kids all while telling my friend she yelled at him like a 5 year old? Two grown, very respectful women who had not had ONE drink yet all night. Even after she tried to speak with him privately, he still continued to be rude to her. So we got our food to go.Not to mention, a few weeks prior I went in on a date and the change machine wouldn’t work over by the games and the staff told me and other patrons they had no change."

"I tried Down Home Grill for the first time last week and I really loved their fries. I ordered again today and decided to try their Matcha Drink and I am very impressed. I added raw sugar and lavender and I’m telling you now I won’t be going to Starbucks for Matcha anymore. I am very happy with this drink! I will be trying a lot of other items on their menu."

"Like a loud TV while eating Sushi?. I have been there 4 times at least. I had come back because the food is OK and the service is relatively fast. However, last time I dined in, the TV set was set up so loud that it was the main center of attention on the table of 8 we had. It was located right in our heads. It was set to CNN with the current news of famine and the standard war reports. Not a pleasant idea when you are eating. I asked the waitress to please lower the volume and she did not do it. She was watching it. Loud TVs is a common plague that is creeping in the restaurant business lately, but it should not have to be like that if restaurant understand that people go to eat with friends or family and have a unique experience. For TVs, we all have one at home already with remote controllers so we can decide what and when to watch."

"Went there today for the first time. We got there shortly after they opened and the employee who helped us was very friendly and able to answer all the questions I asked. We got two burgers, chicken tenders and fries. The burgers were really great. The patties had an awesome sear and very tender inside. The veggies were all super fresh and I really liked that they grill theonions to order rather than just having a pile of precooked ones sitting around like five guys. They use Martin's potato rollswhich is a great choice. The fries were also really good, with a nice crispy outside. The people who came in after us got thechicken sandwich and it was cool to see that they dredge, coat and fry them to order. Will definitely be back and most likelytry the chicken sandwich next time."

"Service was good not great but good. Drinks were jam-up, the bartender was over the top on making drinks, delicious ?. Was very disappointed with the food this time around, fried mushrooms were not fried crispy enough, very soggy leaving water on the plate. Spinach dip was very vinegary, the chips were stale. Now, the wings were great, but I was served a plate of soggy limp brown ended celery, looked terrible, and very mushy. I asked for a fresh plate but the waitress was kind enough to tell us it all looked that way. It should have been thrown out. We ordered food to learn the lesson we needed to check the orders before leaving... The Philly sandwich had very little meat or cheese, we paid $11.99 for basically a sub roll. We ordered mash potatoes with it, they were decent. Also ordered the blackened shrimp tacos, the shrimp was not blackened and the sauce on it was extremely hot, I ordered the mixed vegetables with it and they were Horrible! Dark brown spots, mushy tasted rancid! Garbage! Disappointed tremendously ?! Called and left a message for the manager."

"The house chips were delightfully crunchy without being overly salty, and the sweet potato fries were delicious as well. I appreciated that no salt was added to them. The regular fries were seasoned well and had a flavorful taste, reminiscent of dirty fries. In terms of the environment, I didn't find any designated pickup parking (at least none that I saw), but the inside had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant. I initially scheduled my order but was able to call in and pick it up earlier. The manager was very accommodating about the issue with the wing flavor, and I quickly received a replacement through UberEats. It was handled in a professional manner. As for pricing, it was reasonable. Five wings cost $10, but the price decreased with larger orders. The sides ranged from $3 to $5 each. Would I order from here again? Absolutely, I would!"

"I visited this restaurant twice. The mac and cheese is really tasty, and the fries are excellent when they're fresh. However, they definitely need to offer some plant-based burger options, as all they have are greasy meat choices. The fried chicken is just breaded chicken breasts—better than average but not impressive. The biscuits were a bit dry, and I would suggest avoiding the onion rings, which were overly greasy and lacked flavor. As for the tacos, the fish and shrimp were again super greasy and didn’t have much flavor."
