"On Sunday, May 29th, my parents and I decided to visit the Twin Peaks location on DeZavala in San Antonio. We were happy to find a late-night dining option where we could enjoy a full meal instead of resorting to fast food. We arrived before 11 o'clock and ordered our drinks. The restaurant was not busy and our server, Marissa, provided friendly and efficient service. We then ordered wings and sides, which should have been a simple meal. Unfortunately, our food took over 35 minutes to arrive and when it did, some of it wasn't even very hot. Despite being hungry, we were glad to finally receive our food. The main issue with our visit came at 12:15, when a young, large woman wearing a black shirt (who was not a server) briskly approached our table and rudely informed us that the restaurant was closing at 12. It was now 12:15 and we needed to leave. I explained to her that our food took a long time to come out and we wanted to finish it, but she just walked away. My parents and I left feeling very dissatisfied and unappreciated as customers. If Twin Peaks cannot stay open late with a functioning kitchen, they should consider closing the kitchen an hour before closing time to avoid forcing customers to rush through their meal. My mom, who is older, cannot eat quickly. While I understand that establishments like Twin Peaks may have issues with intoxicated customers lingering past closing time, they should recognize their customer base. My parents and I, in our 60s and 30s respectively, were not drunk and just wanted to enjoy our dinner. The woman who rudely told us to leave without an apology clearly did not understand good customer service. We will not be returning and will share our negative experience with others. Additionally, the women's restroom was embarrassingly dirty during our visit."
