"As for the food—excellent! I tried the Birria tacos and the Cali tacos along with some fries, and the flavor absolutely makes up for the lack of warmth behind the counter. Despite the staff’s disinterest, I would definitely return for the great food. The pineapple habanero sauce was deliciously sweet with a spicy kick, and I wish I could buy a bottle of it! There was some confusion about whether the staff clears the tables or if it’s up to the customers, so we went ahead and cleaned up ourselves. I can't wait to try more items on the menu. Edit: Who is in charge of the fish tank? It could use some care."

"I was in town visiting friends who highly recommended this restaurant for dinner. We also had another friend visiting from out of town, and we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated in a spacious, comfortable booth. Our preferred drink is an old fashioned, and we were pleased to find a high-quality version here. The service was exceptional; our server was knowledgeable, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. I ordered the salmon, and it was absolutely fantastic! It had a light crust on the outside and was deliciously moist on the inside. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Overall, the place had a great energy, excellent service, and a wonderful ambiance. I would definitely return when I’m back in Dallas."

"Set there for over 40 minutes waiting on my food with other individuals' food coming out that showed up after I did. 1/2# Pulled Chicken and 1/2# Chopped Beef. Due to me only having an hour lunch though I won't be eating lunch today. Dinner should be good after I have to reheat it. I made a comment that my food had been just sitting there for probably 25 minutes and the response I got was we didn't know where you went. Well, call someone's name don't just expect a customer to know it's ready. So disappointed AND HUNGRY"

"Loved the secret Speakeasy vibe... big stairs to get in, so not handicap accessible from what I could see. Love the stall and hayloft decor. The Little Green Dragon drink was wonderful and worth the price! Food was excellent and all in our family enjoyed our meals. Only comment might be is , if you can't do or don't like salt, ask chef to go easy or not at all! Server was personable and prompt! I give this place 4 and 3/4 stars.Would definitely go back to Horse Inn !"

"I always say it, This is hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant in Temple, TX. Every time I come here the food is absolutely melt in mouth amazing. I have never had any complaints. The 1 time they mixed up my wife's plate they immediately fixed it. The servers are all very nice and do a very good job. The salsa and chips are always kept coming while you wait for your food. The experience here is just all around what I want when I go here. The Fajita beef meat is never too chewy or tough, the chicken meat is juicy and seasoned. I cannot compliment their food enough. I recommend this establishment 100% to everyone. Try it an you will not be disappointed."

"restaurant review: “The Angel Hole” – hidden shady arm! in my search for so many of our local (within 80 miles from home) restaurants like I can and mining for restaurant shadez, I think I have found a real “Hidden Treasure” in “The Angel Hole” restaurant back in the hollers of cadiz! we found this little restaurant by chance after checking out “The Pier” in the prizer point resort before a few weeks what we enjoyed. we have found many good restaurants away from the beaten but this little restaurant is great! it is a ma pa art restaurant, and with tons of village charme, and the owners and coworkers are wonderful people, but it is the eating that radiates even the friendliness of the staff! we speak here “WOW!!!”, at least for my taste! if they let this place starve, it is definitiw their own fault! the prices are also very reasonable. this restaurant receives the price “Biggest fish Filets” in the opposite and they are perfectly cooked. in serious, the 2 pieces fish filet eating is enough for most big eater and if they have a hollow beside, then the 3 pieces fish meal will also fill this! lol! in serious, the portions are very generous, and very, very good! their white beans were perfectly cooked; the pommes were also very good. we tried the fried pickles that were very good, and despite thicker than I like, the taste of their fried green tomatoes was good, my wife thought they were excellent. there is also a connected ice cream shop that has some very good chocolate shakes, and their homemade peace pies will be legendary as soon as the rest of the opposite of them finds out. that a restaurant inspired me to create a completely new category – “Gut Buster”, because they want to eat until you feel like it could be full! lol! seriously if they like wels, this as a “must TRY” dunning goal, because it’s really so good! this has earned a 5-star rating, in my humble opinion, and I am happy to take family friends to try this place. they will be closed the week of working day, but after this week will be open again. "Wife and visited on 1/29/22 and our waitress, Gail, took our drink orders almost immediately. Service was very good, even though they appeared to be short staffed. I ordered the Trolly Car combo, with smoked ribs (3) and smoked, chopped chicken breast and sides were potato salad, BBQ baked beans and corn bread. I must say I was not impressed with the food presented at all. The ribs were very over cooked, as you can tell in the picture, and covered in so much sauce, the flavor of the pork was buried. While the chicken was very tender, it to was covered in sauce. Both items had a very strong bitter flavor to them...a flavor that comes from a mis-managed fire. There was no clean smoke flavor, but rather that flavor that comes from dirty smoke, from a fire not getting enough oxygen to burn clean. This was confirmed when we left by viewing the brown smoke rising up from the pit. The beans tasted right out of a can with some un-flavored meat tossed in and the corn bread was so cold it felt as though it had literally been taken straight from refrigerator and plated. While the potato salad wasn't terrible, it wasnt enough to raise this review rating. I have heard many good things about Bluegrass BBQ but unfortunately, I walked away leaving 90% of everything thing ordered on plate. Pricing for this meal was very reasonable, at 16.00, for as much food presented. I just wish it was tasty enough to eat."

"Food was good. We got asked by some friends to join them at their table. We did. We told them to separate our ticket. Now I know why they said we will just put it all together and when you come up to pay we will separate at that time. Did not think anything about it but I left a $5.00 tip like I always do for just two meals even when real cheap at places if waitress good. I could not believe how much our food was. My husband did not know there were no sides to his meal. He asked for onion rings not knowing it was upsizing for more. Mine was right but brought my salad out in a tiny tiny bowl that would make a mess. Asked for a plate. We got charged a 20% gratuity fee on our reciept that they would not take off because said more than a party of 10. I explained all she could say is we have a sign at the door that says we charge an 18% gratuity for party of 10 or more. I explained to her we came in by ourself got asked to join. We tried to get them to give us a sep receipt and would not. Now I know why. They got $8.00 gratuity plus the $5.00 from us. We are sr citizens on fixed income. I do not recommend eating there. We will not be back."

"I had a craving for chicken enchiladas and was really looking forward to them. Unfortunately, when they arrived, there was no chicken, and the little chicken that was there was in large clumps instead of being shredded or tender. It was quite disappointing! They had one task and completely missed the mark. I definitely won't be coming back!"

"we stayed during the trip to this restaurant, hoping for a nice smokehouse lunchtime. our first note on how this could prove, was very unclean from the toilets with paper around the floor and some of the towel and soap dispensers were out of order. then the smoked brisket I was served had no smoke ring, no bark and no smoked taste. it seemed like it was cooked many times. my wife then discovered the soda machine had moulded around the egg donor, so we went to the other donor the same. we tried to tell the manager politely about the mold, but was treated very rudely by the manager with a posture. no thanks, will not return to this restaurant!"

"I was in Dallas for the night and asked the hotel staff for a good BBQ recommendation. They suggested Sonny Bryan's, despite a few other places being closed. I don't judge a restaurant based on its appearance, as long as the food is good. And Sonny Bryan's did not disappoint. Despite some negative reviews, my dining experience was wonderful. I've tried brisket in many places, but Sonny Bryan's had the best brisket I've ever tasted. The sausage, baked beans, and onion rings were also delicious. The service was good, but the highlight for me was the brautwurst, which was amazing."

"Saying Hudson's is the best is an understatement. In my opinion, it serves the best barbecue I have ever tasted. I don't get how anyone could complain about cleanliness when their health score is a solid 93! This amazing restaurant has been in the same spot for over 40 years! With prices even lower than some fast-food places, how could Hudson's not be your go-to choice for dinner every night? Scot and Buford, the father-son duo who own and manage the place, along with the rest of the staff, are extremely welcoming. The portions are generous, so you can easily take home leftovers for another meal! Hudson's is truly a gem. There's nothing quite like it! Anyone who claims Hudson's isn't good, welcoming, or clean clearly hasn't had the experience I have. If you haven't been to Hudson's yet and are thinking about trying it, I suggest ordering a big glass of sweet tea (don’t forget to ask for crushed ice!) along with their pork plate. You'll get a huge serving of delicious pork along with your choice of any side! I highly recommend the homemade, non-frozen fries. Try Hudson's once, and you'll be hooked. I believe it's not only the best barbecue in Douglasville but possibly the best in all of Georgia! You definitely need to stop by and give it a try!"
